Ouch!!!

Hi all,
Smashed two of my fingers today.That goodness,it was on my left hand,as I'm right handed.
What happen,was using the Ol'Boss to do yard work.Put a few large limbs on the rear rack,took off holding them with my left hand,driving with my right.All was going good till,one of the larger one's hit the ground.Smash!!!!My left hand's index,and middle finger,got pinned between the rear rack and the limbs.OUCH!!!!!Man..happen like 2 1/2 hours ago,and they still hurt.
Crazy I know,just thought I'd share it,with ya'll.

Dang bro, I hoped you iced them after it happened or you're gonna be hurtin' like crazy!

Watch your fingers carefully. If you are in agony as the day goes by, you may have a blood clot under your nail(s) and will need medical care to have the pressure relieved. I forget what the condition is called. Maybe one of our medical people will help me out. Anyway, it happened to my son once. The poor kid had a horrible night, but the pain was instantly relieved when the doctor pierced his nail.

Hi everyone,
well as far as a update on my left paw.Well the two fingers are still a bit sore.Sorta suprized,as they didn't swell up.Can bend them,mainly my index finger is the one that is hurting.The right side of the nail,is dis-colored abit.Not to bad,all things consistered.
Just glad didn't hurt my writing hand.Thank you all for caring.This is a great bunch of people,we're like one big happy family...

EDIT: Ooops, I completely forgot that I am semi-ambidextrous, meaning that I can occasionally use my right hand... ex. I have to use my left hand to write with, but my right hand to operate scissors.

Michael, I hope your hand is better. I cut my finger deeply once while cutting potatoes and was shocked at how painful injuries to the fingers can be. I've been much more careful with my hands ever since. I definately pay attention when I use big, sharp knives now.

I just recovered from a bad hand wound,
so I know how painful it can be.
Watch your hand closely and go to the Dr if
anything seems as though it is getting worse.
