i'm viewing members signatures and i tried replying to a post with images but .gif and image files aren't allowed now.

anyone know what's going on with ageless. if it's not one thing it's another.

just last week we couldn't even have the a s s combination in words.

i remember about six months ago the site would also crash regularly and people couldnt access ageless.

but then again it may just be me.

anyone else experiencing this?

Yep, I noticed the problem too . .. I just tried to post a response on a thread and it told me I had too many images in my post . . . I had 4 smilies  Go figure? I discovered it allows 3.

I noticed it last night, but then it stopped. Looks like the problem is back again.

Yeah, and it's making the posts all kinds of widths too because of not showing the graphics and just printing out the HTML code.

if it's not one thing it's another.

Chill! :)

BBS's like Ageless have many administrative settings that control the look and feel of the forums and the content.

I'm sure the A$$ issue was the result of the administrator putting that word into the "Banned" word list. It obviously didn't work as he inteneded and overall it was a minor distraction and kinda funny. Maybe if he had put " A$$ " in the list it would have worked correctly. I can't say for sure because I'm not familiar with this brand of board.

I'm sure that the HTML code being turned off int he signature files is also the result of settings being changed in an attempt to enhance the board content.

Be patient, after all this board is free.

I just deleted the html in mine, or you could also do everyone's eyes a favor and disable your signature until the problem is resolved...

I am sure that Rob turned the particular codes off for a reason. This reasons could be one of a number of reasons....or it could of just been a glitch in the software. I am sure he will let us know when he wants us too...

Really, in the grand sheme of things...whether you can post pictures or not is a tiny thing. Heck, on some boards I'm on or have been a member of...the only reason you are allowed to post a picture is to post a screen shot of your computer screen...

Well all's not lost..smilies are still on ;) :p

also if people just shut html off on peoples sigs it only shuts them off from your viewing them not for everyone who views your message ;)

I have sent Rob a message, let's see what we can do about it. I would advice everyone to keep your signatures simple (whiterose yours is still the same, I think you didn't succeed in changing it) until we can solve the problem.

I miss my gifs, too! :(

Oh I'm sorry. I had no idea that you could still see my signature. So, I deleted it. Is it gone now?

Now it's gone!

We'll soon have an answer to all this, I'm sure! :)

Will we be informed when the problem has been corrected? I miss my roses in my signature. :(
