TV Audio?

Does anybody know if I can get TV audio online? The audio on my TV just went out (horrors, no TV!). It may be due to the fact that my son gave me some speakers from his old surround system and he and my boyfriend have been trying various ways to hook up the TV to the speakers by going through the receiver and also just straight through the speakers--maybe too much fiddling around. Or it may be that the audio or volume in my old TV has just broken. Neither guy is here right now so I am stuck. Anyway, I would like to know if I can find the audio from the show online and just watch the picture on TV. Boy, I am really desperate, aren't I?

Patricia....unless what you're watching is doing a live simulcast on the TV and online, unfortunately, you're pretty much out of luck...

I mean, depending upon what show you were watching...it may be available online...but, we're talking about nefarious things...like illegal downloading and I don't think you're wanting to do that.

Unfortunately, unless someone knows something different...I'm afraid you're pretty much out of luck...

Thanks anyway, Dan. My boyfriend just got home and got the sound through the receiver. He says he thinks that the TV volume
is broken, though. But, at least, I can see ER which started at the precise moment that Hikmet got the sound through the receiver! Lucky me!
