I would like to know how Agelesslove started, who created the site, when, etc, does anyone know?

I think the original person who started Ageless was Peggy LeTrent. At least I've seen her credited. I'm not totally sure though. She's got lots of other old articles and stuff on age gaps out there, nothing for a couple of years though, and I don't know what happened to her. She had another forum that I belonged to, but it disappeared one day. She was very very strict that you had to be IN a relationship to post there, and anyone that was otherwise, she'd post that they weren't eligible to post, and booted them. I never agreed with them. T

That couple were the couple of the month forever, I think they were the only couple of the month ever in fact. She's just started posting again here, our very own celebrity :)

It used to be part of a site called Lovestories, which was mostly dedicated to writers. It was linked from there anyway, and if you do searches on the net for age gap, you'll still find links to Lovestories, which doesn't exist anymore.

Alanna, and my friends Jan and Nick from agegap.net were co-moderators later, until a difference in opinion led them to start agegap.

I just wish our new moderator would tell her story, so we'd know who owned our little home here.

My name is Angela and my husband Rob and I were the recent purchasers of AgelessLove.com. I am the moderator of the site and hopefully, Rob will be starting to help out soon. He promises me that he will help moderate some sections of the site. We purchased the site on another forum from Alanna, who owns and runs LoveStories.com. Basically, the site started a few years ago as a sub-section of LoveStories and was eventually broken out to AgelessLove.com. We are really enjoying the site and are really looking forward to becoming more involved. It has been difficult to get involved so far because we also own and run TalkingPresents.com which was extremely busy for Christmas. We do get a lot of PMs and emails so feel free to send us any questions that you have.

Angela, thanks for replying! It's nice to hear the story from you, I know that some people were as curious as I was to know it.

Yeah, I would have been booted off and would never have met any of the people here -- some of whom have become very, very dear to me. ;)

since this is the first and only board i have ever joined or even commented on, i dont understand how someone could own a board, i love ageless, but why would a person go thru all the bother and purchase at that? is it hobby? or is this a kind of business? if i am prying i apologize. i am just curious.
