LDR coming to an end soon

Hi folks. I haven't been around for a while because I've been in the hospital and recovering from emergency surgery. Just 1 day short of my neck surgery I was back in the hospital again .... wasn't fun.

My YM bought a ticket to visit me a couple months ago. When I was in the hospital, my mom told me that she didn't think it was a good idea for him to come while I was sick, because for 1, I looked like hell, and because I couldn't do anything. She offered for Phil to toss his nonrefundable plane ticket in exchange for a ticket she would purchase, 1 month later, as a coming home present for me.

He wanted to be there for me, however and came anyway. He got here just 2 days after I got out of the hospital. I was very sick and weak. I slept a lot and couldn't do much. He was right there with me, taking care of me and doing everything for me. I knew after this visit that I'd never meet another man like him, and, well, he's moving in with me in June.

For many months I cursed the love Gods because I was in love with a man 3000 miles away. When we got together it was bliss, but after I missed him so much. Now I'm just feeling very blessed that I have him in my life.

I had to share my news, now that I can actually sit at a computer. This LDR is going to have a verry happy ending. :)

Wow!!! How wonderful. When I first read the title of your thread, I have to admit I was afraid you were telling us you were breaking up. How relieved I was to read on and see that you are going to have a very happy ending. Well, not an ending... a transition!

I'm so glad that he was able to be there for you while you were sick and to take care of you. That is a true measure of how much a man loves you.

Congratulations and I hope that you're feeling much better now.

:)

Kalri, may your relationship end as happily as mine has. :D

He sounds like a Good Man and this is the highest compliment I can give. Lucky lucky you.

By the way, I'm glad that you are feeling better. It's very hard to be sick and it's even harder to be in love with someone who is sick and not be able to be there. I know the two of you will take care of each other like Dave and I do. *sigh* It's wonderful to have the love of a Good Man.

Peace,
Jane

congratulations, from these life hurdles you are even closer, it is amazing how love kicks into gear when it's real. I never had it before, I know my Adam is a stick by his girl man also, we are so so so blessed. Best wishes for good health.. kitty

Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

And Nessa, I learned from the best. ;)
I knew the subject title would get everyone's attention.

I still miss him though. The time inbetween visits is long, and the time we have together flies by. I can't wait to have him here for good.

Kalri... I have been away from Ageless so I did not know you were ill... I am glad you are ok.
What a true love your guy has for you, to take care of you when you are recovering from surgery. I am glad he did not take your Mom's offer.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. The last trip that Tim and I were together I became very ill for most of the trip. He was so great and took such good care of me. I just love him more and more every day!
We are two lucky women, aren't we! :D
