Text Underneath Name

Dan,

I would like to change the text that shows under my name and over my Avatar.

I thought I knew where that option was, but I can't seem to find it.

Could you please bless me with your extensive knowledge Oh Kind One?

Hey First Love!

I sure can!

You go to your User Control Panel....
And then, you click on the "Edit Profile" tab....
It's in the middle or so of the page, titled "Custom User Text"
It's the last option under the "Optional Information" section of that page...

What gives? Do you have an idea why this might be?
Do I need to unselect my Avatar or something and then see if it reappears?

This is found if you go to "User CP" and then go to the "Edit Profile" tab...

It should be the "Custom User Text" (down at the bottom of my screen shot)...just type your text in thier and submit modifications...

The last thing I have under Optional Information is Birthday.
The Custom Text field is completely missing (??)

Could it be that way for all new memberships or did I choose something which caused it to disappear I wonder?

Well, that's wierd...*LOL*

I didn't think it was this way, but it may be that the option only becomes active after you've posted a certain number of posts.

But rest assured, you didn't choose anything, nor did you do anything wrong. It may take a certain number of posts now...(though I didn't think it was that way before, but it may be now.)

Give it a day or two, as you post and hit certain numbers (usually multiples of 5)...check back every so often and see...

I appreciate every second you spent trying to help me my friend. I thought it was odd myself so thus I thought I'd ask you for help.

I will take that advice and get my post count up there (I promise I won't post random useless crap all over the board) lol... and we'll go from there.

Hey Danno!

The option "appeared" now. I didn't check between my 19th and 20th post but given that I have 24 now, I am tempted to say that was the issue.

Pretty logical you think?

I don't believe it would be based upon any time limit rather seems to be post related.

I'm glad to see it! It was probably the 20th post...usually, it's multiple of fives. At least at Ageless, I didn't think thier was a restriction, but, evidently I was wrong. *LOL*

Glad to see you can change it now!

And yeah, that's logical....sometimes, the most logical thing is the answer. Doah! *LOL* The pains of my profession sometimes....*LOL*
