Oh come on! You know you do it!
You have to use the bathroom....you reach and grab something to read...
What do you reach for?

Not sure how it got stated-
but all my catalogs end up in a little rack I have
in my bathroom.
No magazines and I rarely "read" the
catalogs when I am doing what I have to do.

I think reading on the pot is more of a "guy thing",
(my ex did and so did my Dad and brother)
LOL

I did glance at the catalogs in there awhile back
and boy, are they old.
Some dated back to 1999.
:p

My boyfriend is really into those Uncle John's Bathroom Readers... they are just full of little facts, articles, trivia, etc. They are quite good. Anyway, he always leaves a bunch at my place. They are all warped because he reads them in the shower. That's right, the shower. Not the bath. The shower.

He sits in the shower with the spray on his lower body, and reads. Every day, sometimes a few times a day, for 20 minutes+. And he leaves the door open, and his family will just go in there and talk to him, and there he'll be, reading in the shower.

Hmm..

I've gotten much better about my bathroom habits. As a child my parents once almost had to break down the door. I had spent two hours on the toilet, engrossed in a book, "Enders Game" if I recall, and when I stood up my legs had completely lost circulation
and I decided to lie down on the floor for a moment and promptly fell asleep. Its a big family joke about me using the bathroom even though I've cut it down to a reasonable amount of time.

As far as reading material I love a new copy of "Us" magazine. I love looking at the pictures and seeing who's doing who, and what movies are in production. Yes, I know its a waste of life but we all must have our vices.

Men's Health magazine is also a favorite. I try to not read a book that I'm currently into because I'll get drawn into it and have a repeat of the childhood incident. :D

Been there, done that. I've even read Ender's Game (although I didn't read it all in the bathroom). :p

I tend to like reading things like trivia books in the bathroom, or poetry, or short story selections. One of my bathroom favourites is a book called "The Barmaid's Brain" by Jay Ingram, which is a collection of scientific facts and ancedotes (such as why moths are attracted to light, the controversy over the Vinland Map, and why some anthropologists think early man might have once been semi-aquatic).

But really, I'll read just about anything, anywhere, anytime.
