I wrote this one when I was 15. (A Real Dreamer) It was published in a book last year.
Across the miles, where do I go?
Looking for one that I do not know.
This way or that way, I don't have a clue,
In hopes that one will lead me to you.
How can I find you when I don't know your name?
How can I be sure that you will feel the same?
If I told you that I've been waiting, what would you say?
Would you take me in or would you turn me away?
Do you even exist or are you make believe?
It's a funny thing how the heart can deceive.
How will I know if you were meant to be mine?
Will our love come easily or only in time?
Discouraged is the one thing I try not to be.
Am I alone in this journey or are you looking for me?
