May/December LDR

I just joined the forum because I just watched the special on A&E about so called May/December romances. I've always thought that was such a stupid term for it. My boyfriend is 19 years older than me, and I've never had a better connection with anybody. It doesn't feel like there's that much of a gap at all. It kind of sucks because he lives about a thousand miles away from me, but I'm about to embark on a 2 month road trip with him, and his kids. It just kind of makes me mad when people act weird when I tell them how old he is. Oh well. People are stupid. Anyway, thanks for having the forum. It's nice to have a place to go for advice or just to comment about this business.

How long have you and your b/f been involved in your LDR? And, boy, to take a two month road trip with him and his children takes courage. How old are his kids?
