LDR newbie here

Hello all,

Some of you already know me from the OW/YM forums. I'm here because soon I'm going to be in a Long Distance Relationship. For a great cause (you may read my original post at http://www.agelesslove.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10855) I am soon moving from San Diego to Northern California, miles and hours away from the the man I love so dearly. I am sure that over time I will be sharing much of my thoughts and feelings with you. Know ahead of time that I will always welcome and appreciate your feedback. As I've said before in a different thread, compassion in a world that lacks much of it, is always a great thing.
I am trying to read existing threads to get a head start, so to speak, but I'm sure I'll occasionally bring up issues that you guys have had a chance to discuss. Please, bare with me as I'm a newbie to the whole LDR thing. :D

Welcome to the LDR forum, Elle! We rely heavily on each other to get through it. So, anytime you need to talk or vent, post away!

Don't worry about bringing up already discussed topics....we always need a little refresher course from time to time. :)

When mine was going well, we always talked on the phone each day. I used the Yahoo! online Greeting cards if I felt like she was sad or mad at something. They always made her laugh or smile. We created a way to physically express kissing and hugs online...*muwah* or *muwah with tounge* and *hug*. They're corny, but we liked them. Best of luck.

Silverlasha, why don't you post a new thread and tell us all about you? You could either post it in the new members forum or here in the LDR forum if you are involved in a LDR?
