Writing and Publishing

Hey everyone and happy Memorial Weekend,

I like to write and when I write I just keep on writing. I've had the idea of writing a children's book one day. What does it take to get a book published? Does anyone know of a publishing how to guide? What's the chance of getting your work published?

Also, is there a way to write on the side and make extra cash? I guess you could call it a "Freelance" writer. Any thing like that out there?

Hmm, I had seen a thread on that in chit chat not only once... maybe someone remembers the title? You may try to do a search, Lance, go to chit chat and see what you can find.
