Surpressing Feelings/Emotions

Hello,

I just recently broke up with my girlfriend and we were in a LDR as some of you might know. Well yesterday night on the phone, I said something foolish that I wanted to do where I might get hurt and she says "no you wont" in her old loving voice. Then she quickly got an attitude and said "do whatever you want Lance" Then I slipped up and called her baby and she snapped at me and told me not to. Well just 5min ago, she called me baby on the phone and didn't say anything about it. Any idea what is going on in her head?

I for one never feel like being involved again, I hate being drug through the mud. It's just too much.

Lance, the issues going on between you and her really have nothing to do with an LDR, but instead pertain to her current emotional status. Based upon what you've said, she seems like a girl who is very confused about what she wants.

If I may give you some honest feedback, it seems to me that you are getting your hopes up very high that she may want to be with you one day. While it's certainly possible, it's also possible that the girl wants her freedom right now. At least that's what you've indicated.

Please do yourself a favor and try to begin dating other people. Don't sit at home waiting for her to figure out what she wants. If you can remain friends with her in the meantime, ok, but calling her "baby" is probably going to add to her confusion.
