share with you loved one how you feel

I know this had been done before but i thought it would be nice to start a new thread about it. come in and share poems pic or anything to show your loved one how you feel. i'm going to start with the first one cause i seen something today that made me think about nessa. it show how i feel and think all in one poem. hope she likes it and everyone ese likes it too.


You're still the one
I want to love forever.
You're still the one
I want to wake up with
every morning and
snuggle with every night,
the one I want to share
my dreams with,
build castles in the air with,
the one whose hand
I want to hold when
I'm afraid,
whose shoulder I want
to lean on when I need support.
You're still the one
I want to encourage
to make your own
dreams come true,
the one I want to comfort
when you need a source
of strength,
the one I want to hold
close always.
You're still the one,
the only one,
I want to love forever.

Patience

A numinous mist

I stagger my steps,
waiting,
debating the distance
against the quality
of our new found time together.
Lovers of the heart and mind
casting stones into the abysmal depths
of discovering the soul within the other

The strength
of your character
amazes
and moves me.
The day will arrive
when your eyes hold mine,
stealing anxious breath away.


Pacing the boardwalk-
my man on the moon has a smile
I can only feel.
Pondering the promises,
the ones to keep,
the hopeful, bright ones that might represent
the rest of my life.
The pacing is so damn symbolic-
so very typical
of me.
Another cast stone
bringing me closer to you
as the ponderous mist makes it way
back out to our rolling sea.

Nessa you are one VERY lucky woman...but I strongly suspect that you already know that.

It's 5:30am here. I have 3 bad disks that have been waking me early and preventing me from sleeping. Last night Dave massaged my back and shoulders until his arms were numb even though I kept asking him to stop. He said that he wanted to take my pain away. Is it any wonder that I love him more than life itself...
