Inspired by recent events....


What makes you stay awake at night?

I teach high school colorguard.
There was a guy in the marching band two years ago...whom I loath, but still comes around all the time (he's dating a girl in teh band). He calls me tonight to inform me that one of my freshman girls is running away....I'm standing by for more info :(

Well I can't say anything keeps me up.. I'm a very good sleeper LOL.. lately a little less due to being uncomfortable being pregnant.... although I guess My sleeplessnights will come soon now with a baby and child expecially when he is sick.... or hungry .....

Only other thing would be something tramatic happening to my family.... but other than that .. nothin else bothers me to sleep :)

i usually get ticked off with people who snore, but 10 minutes later...I'm out like a light! :)

Worrying about my kids usually keeps me up at night especially when they are not home. My husband has no problem sleeping. I am the worrier, but, isn't that always the womans job.

Ughh! I worry about everything! Lately it's been about finances and bounced rent checks. Lame.

Update:

The runaway student of mine was stopped at the Mexico border (which is very close) and her parents were called and she has been picked up and safe.

I slept very well last night.

Once my mom got me on this diet called - uh....hmmmm.can't remember. oh well...but I took the energy pills late in the day and I was sooo tired, but I could go to sleep. Everytime i closed my eyes I saw all these colors. It was like I was on some sort of drug! Thankfully I got a lot of ideas for a show. I got up and wrote them all down. That year the kids I taught won the BRONZE metal....THANKS MOM! LOL

I can't remember the stupid diet.
Yeah, I was on it for like 2 months and quit. I hated it.
I was popping 14 pills a day!
Drinking 3-4 shakes and a very small dinner.

EM, repeat after me:

Starvation
BAD

Diet pills
BAD

Repeat until you believe it. You are a doll and do NOT need to do stuff like that.


hmmm, maybe I should answer the original question. Usually I can't sleep if I'm thinking a lot about Tom. I also have trouble sleeping if I have a very early morning court appearance or something else I'm afraid of missing. Sometimes my cat keeps me up.

That's about it. I'm usually pretty beat when I get home after a long day + exercising.

Emmie....the kittys keep me up too! Theywere playing on my bed this morning....AT 2AM!!! GRRRR!

Things that keep me up at night.....hmmmm........ O.K. 'C' when he snores / thoughts of not having a job/ when 'C' and I get in an arguement/ or when I'm excited about an event happening the next day...........and the famous love making all-nighters.....he!he!he!

When I'm there's something goin' on the next day, I"m like a kid w/ too much sugar. I'm WIRED! I can't sleep...but then when I do fall asleep...it's only for a few hours...then I'm tired at the next days event :( LOL :)

Wondering how some idiot like Bush got to be President. LOL:confused:

I'm a night owl to begin with, so going to sleep at a decent hour has always been a challange for me! Some nights its more difficult for me to fall asleep than others and if I've drank something with caffine or if there if I've been under a lot of stress those are two huge factors.

I'm a night owl too...the bad thing is that I have to get up at 5am! :(

UFOs abducting me...but not so much anymore. I dont worry about stuff, and now that im out of school I will have to less to worry about. I usually listen to a radio show that i love (goes with alien abductions) I used to talk all night to my girlfirend on the phone till 5am..that was always fun.
