I literally have to stop myself from buying another pair of black wedge heel sandals---Im outta control!

for severa years, but I finally admit to myself that besides my obvious penchant for a woman's legs (and yes, even though most women will say they have not-so-pretty-legs, i disagree!), I have something of a foot fetish...

and I'm wondering where the heck that fetish came from?

I have bad feet. I have almost no padding on the ball of my foot and some other problems. I own 3 pairs of men's Nike classic sneakers that I change depending on the color I'm wearing because my shoe inserts fit them. I have a pair of brown and a pair of black dress shoes that hurt and a couple of pairs I need to take to Goodwill because my feet have changed too much to even get them on.

I hate shoes!!

I hate shopping for shoes. I'd rather be beaten than have to try to find something that fits me. I usually end up with men's sneakers because its all I can walk in.

Dave has more shoes than I do, a fact that pleases him to no end. He wears a size 15 and before we met he could never afford more than one pair at a time. :)

I believe I probably have at least 25 pairs, but I only wear about half of them regularly. I really do need to clean out my closet. :rolleyes:

I used to have just a few pair of shoes, it's quite recently that I have started to feel like buying more and more shoes.

I think I must have around 40 pairs. I've been thinking of buying a new shoe rack and if I do it this weekend, I’ll count them carefully and bring the data back to you!

Hmm...close to 20 pairs of shoes..heels, sneakers, etc. and about 5 pairs of various kinds of boots. Course, when your shoe size is a ladies 3 and a half, its hard to find shoes, so I tend to never throw any away, and can't buy as many as I would like.......

1 - workboot type
1 - sandals
1- black pumps
1 - navy blue pumps

I wear work boots or sneakers to work. Sandals or sneakers for casual roundabout. Pumps for special occasions.

I officially feel like the oddball now. :( I just hate the styles alot of times. My size9 doesn't look good in them, so I don't waste my money on something that'll sit in my closet unused. /shrugs

Don't feel like the oddball Gypsyheart, you have another non shoe owner. Just have the shoes I need, couple of pair of tennis shoes, work and play. Boots, one pair black dress winter and a pair of black and brown sandals. Just don't do shoes. My neice loves them, you know has like 10 different shades of black shoes.

Now..... Coats on the other hand are my fetish. Hardly ever see a rack of coats that I pass up. I have curbed the buying and just look and touch alot in the store.

I own 4 pairs of shoes: 2 pairs of Nikes (1 for trail-running, the other for the gym), 1 pair of dress shoes, and 1 pair of boots.

They dont even have to be expensive! My latest score was a pair of Skechers sneakers from the girl's department wayyyyy cheap! and pink and white with little charms on the shoe laces...

I'm like Gypsyheart and have about the same
amount, (and kind), of shoes that she listed in her post.

I go nuts over sweaters.
But I do like a fine pair of hiking boots!

I have no idea of how many shoes i have. I had to leave boxes full at my home when my brother assaulted me and i fled the state. But I did bring enough with me to have at least 10-15 pair at each of my kids homes. (3) I don't pack them and travel with shoes or clothes. I have enough for the time of year that i am in each climate. I sure wish for some of the ones I had to leave tho. I had 3 pair of silver and 4 pair of gold shoes for evening wear, and could really use them when I am with my younger son.
We attend opera, concerts, symphony, and stage shows. I only brought a few formal outfits and none of the shoes.!

Just out of curiosity, I went to count the exact number. Slight underestimation on my part -- I have 115 pairs of shoes. :o

Runners are probably closer to 10 pairs. We're not going to even touch the boots.

*Way* too many; I am a total shoe freak! Jeremy has to pull me back every time we pass shoes in a store or a mall. I just *love* shoes, especially strappy sandles that lace up and/or tie at the ankles (sandles with heels, that is). I have lots of beautiful boots and moccasin boots, too. Ooohhh, I have to stop thinking about shoes. I get carried away.

Wait 'till my husband comes here and sees that I'm not the only female who owns tons of shoes! Yippee.:D

two new cute pair last nite joined the family, i have around 40 pair, i did clean out the closet a month back and gave away 6-7pair of ugly ducklings. everything has a heel and except for maybe 3 pair all are open toed. i get comfort in feeling pretty, and shoes and my a pedicure help along.

I'll concede Reigning Shoe Queen to you, Kimmy. All of the ones I own are my size (okay, some fit me better than others), and I can walk in all of them, even the 4" heels.

I'm just too practical to be the Shoe Queen. :(

Can I get an honourable mention for having them all wrapped in tissue in their boxes -- labelled as to the contents -- with a little packet of silica gel to absorb damp?

And I would never bring six pairs for a weekend! Where would I put all the new ones?? :p

2 pair of flip flops my birkenstocks and house slippers

Like Danika, I probably have 40 or 50 pairs, but mostly wear just a few. At work, I usually race around in my Nikes or oxfords. Although, sometimes when it is warm enough to wear a dress, I wear platforms or pretty flat sandals. When I go out with Hikmet, I can't wear shoes more than 2" tall because he is an inch shorter than I am. I don't own even one pair of conventional high heels, stiletto or otherwise.

I don't even know...but I LOVE ME SOME SHOES!!!
I'm short, so heels are my favorite...usually 3-4 inches. And I tend to favor Steve Madden. :D
