Is it possible at all for a girl to get her period during pregnancy?

I hope someone can help me out with this.

The past couple of months my girlfriend has been gaining some weight and but also getting her periods. My girlfriend says that she read on the internet that its possible to get pregnant and have her period even though its rare.

Is this actually possible??

I hope she isn't pregnant cause I'm supposed to be starting college in September but that would derail my plans for sure.

Please reply back here or email me at tdot_horndog@yahoo.com

Why doesn't she take a pregnancy test? There are inexpensive ones she can purchase at the local drug store. I've used them, and each time, they were accurate. Yes, it is possible to have a period and be pregnant. Are there any other symptoms?

By the way.. did you not post a personal ad looking for a woman in her 40s? And you already have a girlfriend that could be pregnant?

yes.
she isn't really gaining weight anywhere else just where a fetus would be growing and it just started in the past couple of months.
also she has weird cravings like the other day she told me she dreamt about eating dairy queen then when she woke up she went and ate ice cream at DQ.
she doesn't puke but she feels woozy and nauseated at times and gets retarded mood swings.

Go the the nearest drugstore and get a pregnancy test. Either way, it's probably not a bad idea to see a doctor or her gynecologist.

And dude, scoping for women here on the personals board is just not cool when you have a girlfriend who may be carrying your child. What's up wit dat?

Since when? Since you posted on someone's ad a week ago?

Hmm.. ok, ask your love if she considers it cheating if you sleep with another woman to gain sexual experience. Unless you two have an open relationship, then I suppose that's ok. Whatever works for ya. Not cheating, but training... ok. The things people rationalize never ceases to amaze me. I hear Rocky music in my head now.. training, yeah, that's it..

Hope your g/f is ok and figures this out for her sake.

haha you people are quite funny and take everythign out of text.

it is true that a lot of older women have more experience and probably know lil spots in a woman's body that isn't popular belief.

If your g/f is pregnant, it's not possible to have a period during pregnancy, however, it is possible to have monthly spotting for a while. It's also possible that if she is bleeding while pregnancy that she may be having a problem with the pregnancy. I hope that she'll take a pregnancy test and go see a physician.

I also hope that you two have a conversation about safe sex, especially if you are in the process of looking for another woman to "train" you sexually. Please educate yourself on the value of using condoms.

Well, some women do have periods during the first months of pregnancy. It's not uncommon, and it may last, less often, more than three months.

Gen you crack me up!!!

And to the OP---Im really offended that you are seeking an older woman to "teach you" tricks and little spots in a womans body and to train you.
What about your committment to this woman youre with and the fact that she's possibly carrying your child?? Get her to a doctor for God's sake too---how can you go more than a few days suspecting/wondering if youre pregnant?

And what about these older women youre planning on USING to train you?

Dude, bad plan. Its time for plan B here.
What about communication? research?

Ask your woman what she likes and DO it. Try new things, read about the subject.
You are already in a committed relationship. You have arrived at the main event. There is no time for Practice matches here.

Training = Cheating

*points above* .... What she said!!!

on the other subject....... I've known people that had periods well into pregnancy, but they were always younger. I worked with a young guy once that had a big wake up call one night at the hospital when his long term g/f ended up with a kidney infection.

She was a tiny thing too (maybe 110lbs soaking wet). She was running fever and went to the emergency room. Initial test showed she had a bad kidney infection. An hour or so went by and he was getting something to drink. The doctor walks out and tells him, your gf is gonna be fine and so will the baby!

Seems she had periods on time with no other symptoms, and didn't show. Might have gained 5-10lbs tops. She was almost 6mths pregnant!!! Well, as soon as they got her on prenatal vitamins, she ballooned out overnight. They came in the office announcing impending marriage and birth all at the same time. She had a healthy baby about 3mths later.

SHE NEEDS TO TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST NOW!! and seek prenatal care asap if she is! YOU need to quit acting like an immature child and take care of your business.

Here is a "training tip" for ya....... life isn't always about you bud! Even though I've met some 40yr olds that haven't learn that one yet.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Believe me, there really were other things I wanted to say, but you wouldn't want to hear them, and I can't post them. But aside from that...

It's not always true that older women have more sexual experience. When I turned 40, I'd had only two lovers in my entire life. I was married as most older women were, and usually when people are married they dont' run around sleeping with every thing in sight, uh.. to train. What older women have is more life experience and probably more confidence in the bedroom. And honestly, if you really want to please your g/f why don't you ask her what she likes? Why don't you learn her spots yoursefl? Isn't that part of the fun? Cheating on her to gain experience is not even an excuse, and I can't tell you how moronic that sounds... go take care of your girlfriend and stop trying to think of reasons/excuses to cheat on her. And yes, unless she knows about it, and agrees with it, it's cheating. Calling it something else doesn't change it. Oh, excuse me.. training... That's the best one I've ever heard, and I've heard quite a few.

Now, I'll not post on this thread anymore, because I cannot be "supportive". Get her to a doctor, take care of that will you?

Older women are not all desperately sitting around waiting for some idiotic ym to throw them a bone and try to use them like that. Grow up.
