I have never done anything like that, but what are the things you had delivered?

Do you have any favorite things or links?

If you are asking for websites that allow you to purchase things to be delivered to your loved one I have a link for you.

www.ftd.com delivers cookies, cakes, fruits, plants, flowers, stuffed animals, and more.

If you were asking for ideas of things you can make and deliver (yourself) to your loved one when you visit him or her, here are some suggestions.

The first time I visited my boyfriend I baked him his favorite kind of cake, which was carrot. However, I used my family recipe which is a bit different than what he was used to.

I bought him designer neckties, wrapped them, and gave them to him as a gift. His job requires him to dress in full a formal suit. I was thinking of something that he could use and think of me while using it. Since he wears ties with his suits I figured that would be a great idea. He loved them!

Every few months I send him a box full of goodies. Usually I include American magazines that he likes, a painting I have made for him, something that is of Spanish tradition- sometimes this is a non-perishable food item, sometimes something that will help him learn about my culture, and other small things I think he will like.

Those are wonderful ideas!!!

I have sent him chocolate from here, but I'd like to send him something different next time...

I'll have a look at that site, thank you belle!

The first thing I sent to Hasan was a nightie that I sent. I took a bath before bedtime in my favorite bubblebath, then I slept in the nightie and wrapped it in tissue paper in the morning and sent it. He said when he opened the package, he could smell me.

Another time I had a bottle of wine with 2 teddy bears ( a boy and girl) delivered to his door. I don't remember the website, but it was just for Australia deliveries.

Well, since Ageless was down one of the things I did (always doing) is surfing. Just wanted to see what I could come up with on LDR. Found this great site, Maria about gift ideas.

Hope it helps you.

Usually if I buy anything online for Paul I buy him CD's that I know he wants and have them delivered direct to him.
As for making anything for him, well he has a big interest in Steam Trains and I came across a cross stitch kit of one of the famous steam trains, the Mallard so bought that and sat here for ages stitching it until it was finally finished. He knew I was doing something for him but I didn't tell him what it was so he loved it when I took it over for him whenI went over in May.
I'm always sending packages over to him though, usually I'll put some of his favourite candy in it, some music, the odd teddy bear and have been known to send a hankie or something over with some of my perfume on it so he can just hold it close anytime he's missing me. I just love suprising him :D
