I'm new at this... :o)

Hello all!
I'm new at the whole older man thing. I met a 31 year old recently, & he seems to be extremely awesome and just right except for the age thing. I'm 19, it doesn't really bother me, but I've never been interested in someone that is 12 years older than myself. We have lots to talk about, many common interests, and same hobbies. He seems to be into younger women, his ex-wife is quite a bit younger as well, but older than me. It just seems kind of wierd when we talk, we joke about the age difference, maybe its my way of warming up to the situation.

None of my friends really approve so I guess thats why I'm doing this. I just want someone to talk to about it, especially since I'm so new at it. But here lately I have been thinking about it a lot. I think that it may be very interesting to see where this will end up. I'm young, but pretty set in my ways, and have strong beliefs of the way I feel things should be. And to be truthful, I've never gotten them from anyone that I've ever dated that has been my age. I don't feel like we're on the same wavelength at all. They all want to play games and "get laid" for the most part, and I'm just so tired of playing.

Your age difference is really small, but it all depends on how you feel about it.

What is more important is whether or not you two are on the same page. How old do you act, and how old does he act? I think that's more important than chronological age.

Your age difference really isnt that bad.. My husband is 17 years older than me and we are expecting our first baby boy any day now.. I am 29 and he is 46 and VERY much in love.....

Age doesn't matter unless you make it the issue..... If you like him and your compatible take the chance.. If its to much for you and all you can do is focus on a future none of us can predict then the relationship is just bound to fail.....so Please look at the man and the soul your falling for I assure you thats all that matters!!
