Just watched this on DVD with Diana. Pretty damned good movie, no matter what you may think of Ashton Kutcher. Has anyone watched both versions (the Theatrical Version and Director's Cut Version)? If so, which ending did you like better? Diana liked the Theatrical ending better, but I liked the Director's Cut ending better. It seems more poignant to me. Let me explain.

I mean, what more of a sacrifice can you make for the people you love than giving up your own existence? The Theatrical ending was a tad bit MTV and predictable to me. The Director's Cut ending packed more of a punch to me by killing off the lead character. That was just more ballsy to me.
Either way, the movie was pretty good, no matter which ending you prefer.

I was glad to hear that you liked this movie. Jeremy and I were going to see it when it was in the theaters, but some people told us that we shouldn't waste our time. I'm really happy that you saw it and liked it. We'll rent the DVD.

Great, Whisper. Hope you and Jeremy will enjoy it, if not it's understandable. I've been one to actually like movies that have been rated as a "Bomb"...lol

We just saw it last night and really liked it. We saw the director's cut ending.
Isn't it amazing how one little thing, one decision in a person's life, can cause a ripple effect.....can influence so many other things? I think about stuff like that often.

I saw the directors cut and talked w/ my friend about it the next day...she was describing the ending and I was so confused...I had no idea there were two endings. She told me her ending and I told her mine....I think I'm happy with the Director's Cut....awesome movie!

My teenage son really liked this movie too. He was a bit surprised when I told him some people thought it would be a flop or actually didn't like it. Ashton K. did a good job.
