Treasure Hunt!

Yes ladies and gents...we have ourselves a treasure hunt goin' on!

We need hunters and we treasure keepers - you can even be both.

Here's how the game works - I might not expain it very well...so please don't hesitate to ask questions!

There will be a list of 20 items, the first person to obtain the most items with in a certain time frame wins! (I'm workin' on the prize...I'll get back to you.)

So here's how it goes:

The list of items will go up after I have people PM me letting me know if they would like to be a hunter, a keeper of treasure, or both. When the game begins I will post clues for 3 of the 20 items to start. Every ten minutes after that, a new clue for an item will be posted.

How to obtain an item:
Since Mer probably won't be around to play - I'll use her as an example. *note* treasure keepers name will not be shown
Item to obtain: 1972 penny

Clue: Newest Mommy has 4 1972 pennies.

(this one is quite obvious)

So you'd PM who you think it is (in this case it's Mer)

Hunter's PM:
Do have a 1972 penny?

*keep in mind she only has 4 to pass out*

Mer would then tell you yes or no, but in order to obtain the item (because it can get really easy guessing members) you'll have answer a trivia question.

Example: Mer's themed example would be 1972....because she holds a 1972 penny. (Not to hard folks...you have a world of information at your fingertips.) If you answer correctly - and you only two chances - Mer would "give" you a 1972 penny...she'll be less one, and you'll have an item marked off your treasure list.

An example of the list is as follows:

Item: Photograph
Theme: Cameras

Item: thread
Theme: sewing

Can you explain better the trivia question? What kind of question Mer would ask so that she gives me the penny.

Of course I understood everything, but I'm trying to help the others....:D

Yes, I'm interested in understanding that... are you two going to give us the trivia questions to ask? Or, do we have to make those up ourselves? And, do they have to be pertinent to the item?

edit: Oh I think I understand now. It sounds like it WOULD be a theme question and that we would have to research and make up the trivia questions ourselves, right?
