I have to say, I've only been coming here for a few days, but I'm already hooked! You all seem like such great people. I was very disappointed when it was gone - even after such a short time!

It seems that some members are still having problems tonight, sometimes the site is up, something it's down. It's not my case, for me it has been working great.

Does anyone here experienced these up and downs after the site has come back?

Hi Everybody,

It was a rough week - As you have noticed, our Server completely crashed. We are now on a new server after continuous attempts to recover and will still need to go through a stabilization period. The change from the old server to the new server was very difficult simply because of the size of the ageless database, after several attempts we were able to recover the database and we became live earlier this afternoon. I am sorry this happened and am hopeful that this new server will be more reliable (finger's crossed). I have not fully assessed the current state of the site but I think everything was recovered... please let me know if you have any problems. The other concern is that I am off on vacation tomorrow for a week, hopefully, the site will be okay.

Now, to answer the question, I had trouble getting on until about 8:45 p.m. Saturday 24th (Pacific Time).

This is my first reply to a topic in MONTHS!!!

It's good to see Ageless up, and good to be back here. Dan the MAN (or shall we just call him "God" from now on) helped me fix my 'puter over the phone. He was so patient with me, even when I used words like "thingy" and "doohickey". *Sigh*...I just love smart guys!:D

I've got lots of catching up to do. Hope everyone is doing well.

Well, I am glad to see we are back - even the server change struggled. Sorry folks,but we should be okay now. :(

Maria - I was able to find an Internet terminal in a small Northern Canadian town at a local library, it is hilarious... $1.00 for 30 minutes! Anway, gotta get going, my 30 muinutes are up!

In case anyone doesn't know, I am on vacation this week so it was terrible timing for the server to go down but it looks like it is working out now.

I can't comment on the prices of the internet, because if you knew how much I pay in Luxembourg if I connect downtown, you'd have a heart attack! And London was worse, really expensive!
