Maria 07-25-2004, 09:48 PM Well, with all these incidents we had with the site being down, the game is pretty much messed and as I'm going on vacations this next Saturday, I really need to have a winner.
So this thread is open to everyone, of course, but the chances to win are much larger for those members who were faster and got the other answers correctly with less wrong answers....
The finalists are: Guinevere, Whiterose, Trish, and Manofmisteree, not necessarily in that order.
The fourth Guess Member will be coming soon and you have the right to just one question each. To make things more difficult, don't ask his gender and where he lives. Keep to general characteristics, personality traits, religion, political views, favorite food, favorite body part, whatever.
Guess number 4 has the right to decline answering if this gives away his identity too quickly. But they can't lie! :)
Maria 07-25-2004, 09:53 PM Sorry, but one question is too little... how about three questions? ;)
Guess 07-25-2004, 10:42 PM Hullo. Guess number 4 is now in. ;)
I'm an Agelesslove member who can answer some yes/no
questions as you try to find out who I am. :D
Good luck!
~Guinavere~ 07-25-2004, 10:59 PM Do you work in the IT field?
Do you shave your legs?
Do you wear glasses?

Hi, Guinavere!
No, no.. and yes! :)
~Guinavere~ 07-25-2004, 11:12 PM Now I have to wait for someone else to ask a few questions. I used up all three of mine!

Serendipity 07-26-2004, 12:44 AM Are you from Versailles?
Are you in love?
Are you in the U. S. of America?
Maria 07-26-2004, 07:01 AM Kerri, the first question would give him away if he were the only member here that we know is from Versailles.... so he can't answer that!
He can't say where he is... but he will be able to develop more his answers if the questions are more about views, opinions and beliefs...
Go for his personality and otherthings as I said. The leg shaving was a bad one: I had told you pests not to ask his gender yet! :p

O.K., I will skip the first question and answer the
last two. No and yes.

Maria, so, can we assume that since you're referring to Guess #4 as a "he" that does not mean that "he" is a "he"? LOL
Maria 07-26-2004, 07:15 AM Let me help them...
If you could build your own society, what kind of society would that be? Would government exist, or police, or schools?
Second: if you had to live somewhere else and not in the US, what country would probably be your dream destination?
And three: what is the thing (or the things) that really makes you angry?

Oh, I see. It's true. They may be a woman who doesn't shave, but rather wax! :D Silly me!
I guess I'm trying to guess who Guess is like you! ;)
whiterose 07-26-2004, 07:28 AM Guess #4, I'm not going to ask all my questions at once. So, here's my first question:
What's your favorite body part?

One - an open, tolerant society with equal rights for all. A republican form of government with high quality schools and limits on police powers.
Second - probably Canada
three - Social injustice in all its forms (corruption, slavery, child abuse, racism, etc.)

I can't answer that with a yes/no answer.
I have to go to work now. I'll be back this evening. :)
whiterose 07-26-2004, 07:35 AM Hey, Maria said in her first post that we could ask those kinds of questions. She did not say it had to be limited to yes/no. And she even gave that question as an example of one we could ask.
Besides, Maria's questions were not yes/no. So, please answer my question. :D

Hmm, okay, maybe a misunderstanding on my part.
My favourite body part is the female rump. :p

Oh gosh, it's got to be Harrison or Joe!!:D :D
Not trying to give hints here.......
Maria 07-28-2004, 06:16 PM And the winner is:
GUINAVERE (I need your address!)
With a special mention to WR who was always right behind Guin, and just lost by very little! Katrina, you'll get a card from Paris!
Maria 07-28-2004, 06:17 PM SnowP, you were right, it was Harrison! :)
~Guinavere~ 07-28-2004, 06:24 PM I am so excited!! The only thing I have ever won in my life was a case of coke from a radio station years and years ago when I was very young! I am looking forward to the prize from maria...
Maria you are a beautiful prize on these boards!!!
Maria 07-28-2004, 06:34 PM Oh, how about a case of Belgian coke? :p Just kidding, that would be too heavy!
And nothing makes me happier than sending this to a good friend, one of my first here! :D
~Guinavere~ 07-28-2004, 06:41 PM Belgian coke? NO thanks! I am not even a coke drinker! And just like you said it would be way too heavy.
You are a good friend, and you make it easy for friendships to develop!
Guess 07-28-2004, 07:46 PM Excellent work!
As for myself, I'm so thankful I can finally come out of the closet. The stress was getting to be overwhelming! ;)

Should I notify the "Fab Five"? ;)
Guess 07-29-2004, 07:28 AM Tricky questions there, Trish.
This almost calls for a new thread, but I'll try to be brief.
Certainly, I love my wife who is an adorable, sweet person....
But the spark, zing, or "ka-boom" or whatever you want to call it, has definitely gone away. That's all I meant.
I have a feeling there are many, many married folks (or formerly married) who know what I mean. Hope that makes sense.
BTW, no, my wife doesn't really know my feelings on this. ;)
Maria 07-29-2004, 09:39 AM Harrison, there's a song called Ne me Quitte pas, by a Belgian singer/composer, Jacques Brel, that talks about old fires that saw their flames come back at full strength after many years...
It's one of my all time favorite songs.
And Trish, we'll meet this time when I'm in NH, isn't that a big prize for us? Hehe... :) ;)
Maria 07-29-2004, 10:50 AM It does take guts to reveal that, Harrison, especially you, being the private person I know you are.
Trish, how about Belgian chocolate? It's not diet, but girl, is it good! :p
