Favorite Bands and Albums

What does everybody say. I love Boston and ther first album. They fell apart after that. Van Halen (Sammy Hagar) is awesome although 1984 with David Lee Roth was pretty good to. Rush is another favorite band of mine definitely some deep music. The Cure, The Church, Billy Joel, R.E.M to name others . Theres actuaLly so many can't name them all. Let's here it.

My favorite band is.....I'll go with Offspring, just ahead of Metallica.

My favorite CD though.....Alice in Chains Unplugged.

I loved Van Morrison when I was younger, and I still love Van Morrison. My teenage son actually likes some of his songs.
I also like Bono/U-2.

Counting Crows and Staind are my fav bands...
Others I like include Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Nickelback, Dave Matthews Band, Bruce Springsteen, Alanis Morisette, Pink Floyd, T-Rex, Thin Lizzy and of course REM and Radiohead!

Gary Numan, Weezer, Judas Priest, Dave Brubeck, DEVO, Iron Maiden, Stone Temple Pilots,The Cult,The Misfits, Danzig, Powerman 5000, NIN, Cheap Trick, The Monkees(yeah them, lol!), Gorillaz...are some of my favorite artists.
And I'm always open to new ones....

You're welcome Term32/John. I bet Garbage would be great in concert. Last concert I went to was NIN and A Perfect Circle equally amazing!!!! BTW STP and Mr. Numan should have been on my list too. I have his Tube Way Army album and it brings back some pretty good memories. :) Terry

I had a chance to see Numan twice in concert the 4 years.
The most recent was April'02 in NYC...he was AMAZING!!!!!!
His new stuff is very NINish and the old tunes he played were all updated
arrangements. You should check out his new CD's.
I have yet to see NIN...I almost did just before they broke big at Woodstock.
My brother went and said there was less than 200 people there! UGH!!!! I could have just kicked myself!

Yeah I will have to check out Numan for sure! My problem is I walk into Tower Records and my eyes glaze over and I forget what I came in there for cause I want to buy 1/2 the store!!!!!! But I will check Gary out. I'm sure I'll like his new stuff just as well.
Awe you should have gone!!! Trent gives 200% in his shows. I heard somewhere around 94 NIN and Ton toured together for a little bit. I would have killed to see one of their shows!!!!! I heard there is supposed to be a duet of about 3 songs of Trent and Peter singing from that time period but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Terry

I forgot to add to my list Wall of VooDoo! What an oversite! lol Love their version of "Ring of Fire"! Whenever I hear that song I think of them not Johnny Cash. I know, is nothing sacred! :p Sorry Johnny! lol

I've been to Cali twice...
Loved San Fran...went in '91(friendly people!)!
Loved San Diego...went last summer(The Zoo!)!
Didn't really enjoy LA....kind of a let down!
