My brother in law is a freak when it comes to these movies... Don't get me wrong I like the series I can't wait for the next one to come out... but my brother in law knows all the lines from almost all the movies... he's watched them each at least 100 times... it's an obsession.. My sister wants to kill him because of it LOL... I bet my brother in law would do this if he could LOL

When I read the first couple of words...my heart skipped a beat...I thought you were going to say that your brother in law had these kinds if tattoos.

Whatever floats one's boat. What I like maybe someone else won't. Yes, there are many people that LOVE Star Wars that much. I'm saving that link...looks interesting.

Even worse than that are those Star Trek nerds that go around speaking Klingon and giving the Spock sign to to each other.

I'm a self-admitted STAR WARS fanatic. I think those tattoos are rather cool, actually. Especially the Darth Vader one. In fact, I've considered getting a STAR WARS tat before. Maybe the Rebel Alliance symbol or an Imperial symbol.

I'll put it to you this way: If you're going to be a nerd about anything, it should be about STAR WARS. Geekdom doesn't get any cooler than that.

Really...why would anyone do this...is Star Wars that big a deal?

Yes. Especially if you grew up with it the way I - any many others of my generation - did. There's just something magical about STAR WARS that can't be described to someone who hasn't experienced it. No, it's not a religious phenomenon or anything that serious. It's just a really cool one.

And thanks for sticking up for me, love. ;)

I thought--for a second--"is that my ex?" LOL.

And it might have been, but then I remembered that he was a real wimp about pain. My itty-bitty tattoo gave him the heebie-jeebies.

He was that big of a Star Wars freak though.

And...ahem...I'm a close second. I might not tattoo my body...but I've been to all the recent premieres on opening night....You know, the openings with lines around the block and freaks in costumes....

That's all I'm saying.

(whistles innocently)

Ha ha!

Busted!!

Well, since I'm a girl, there really aren't that many choices, are there?

Now if you'll excuse me, my inner freak is showing.

I am a self confessing SciFi freak, Star Wars/Star Trek/Babylon 5/Alpha 1 et al... :-)
What I find so amazing is how much I read or saw has actually come true in my own lifetime!

Understandably a tattoo of something that relates to Star Wars is fine...I just think this guy went a little over board....but then again, if I could I would dedicate my body art to SCV....a performance group I was apart of....but that's something that I was apart of....not something SCIFi....different strokes for different folks I guess.

I don't think it's freakish at all! :)

I think it's just fun, that's all. And Lara, that would be fun, for sure. Plus I've always fantacized about dressing up like Princess Leia in the gold bikini (remember that episode of Friends? hahahaha!).
