I was poking around the internet one day and came across this website. I have seen the support you guys have for one another and I just thought I would join you guys.



I am currently in a relationship with a man that is 19 years older than me. We have known each other for 4 years and been together for 2 years. I am about to being my third year of college. I noticed that people are alot more accepting. All my friends know about my SO, but some of my friends in high school would be abit concern about my being with him. I just thought I would like to get to know you guys better and hear some of your success stories.

I used to be in a long distance relationship.

He lived in Oregon and I used to live in ny, it was like that for two years, but we are finally together

That's great news, Paul is in Australia and I'm in England but we're both looking forward to the time we can say the distance is gone for good. Seeing story's like yours keep me going. Thank you :D

the trick I did was:
lots of lovey dovey cards, emails and phone calls.
my cell phone bill went through the roof but it was all worth it at the end :)

oh yes, my phone bills I don't even want to think about LOL. We send each other little packages occasionally too, in fact I posted one off yesterday :D I know our love is worth it though and we will be together in the end :D

How long have you guys known each other?
do you meet each other once in between the long waits?

We've known each other for a little over 3 years but have only managed to spend time together twice so far, the first time when he came over to England for a month and then last time when I went over to stay with him for a month in May. I'm booked to go back over there at the end of March next year for another month but with my 2 children this time which at the moment seems ages away but I know we'll get through it all. It's just hard getting together more because of the distance involved and of course the cost of flights, and my childs education etc.

My husband is 17 years older than me.. together almost 3 years married one year August 30th.. yippe my anniversary is coming....I am 29 and he is 46.... we just had a beautiful baby boy who is 6 weeks old thursday... :) and VEry happily married....
