kids back in school, getting married...missing things around here.........

well this summer has been hectic, but I, for one, am so glad to have my kids all back in school=) My two oldest daughters are off to college, last three in public school.....hoping to have a little more time to catch up around here...well after Kurt and I pull off this wedding of ours 11 September....and YES, we are aware of the date...Kurt says it is a guarantee for me that he won't forget our anniversary. Polly....im sorry we didnt have a chance to connect this august and am hopeful we can plan something soon. Yellowrose....I'm so terribly sorry to hear of your news:( I am thinking of u and praying that you have peace in the near future. DARLA..... :D That is wonderful! My baby was 14 years younger than my youngest. It was wonderful. The teenagers thought she was better than a pet! Enjoy! Best to you both!

Darla, I miss you and am so glad that you stopped by to say hi and update us. Wow, Sept 11th. That's not far off! And, hey about the incidents on that date from three years ago, well, you are now making happy memories for that day, which is something we should all be doing. So, congratulations on your wedding and please post lots of pictures for us! :)

OH...had to say one more thing...well a COUPLE more:D Thank you all...it IS an exciting time although I'm a little nervous that my 'next to youngest' is a little 'threatened' by Kurt and I getting MARRIED. It is one thing to have a guy around who comes and goes to his OWN PLACE....but another to have him LIVE wif u MOM. I am really sensitive to her as she has struggled over the last year or so. She has recently gone to live full-time with her dad...not because of the wedding, but perhaps it will be best for her initially as we make this transition. Who knows...think all moms (well and men, too) worry about that stuff....just placing it in GOD'S hands as HE knows all....and sometimes i feel like the older I get...the LESS I KNOW=) Wanted to tell Nessa that I've recently met a woman here that I swear could be her twin! She is an administrator at one of our local schools and I want to call her 'nessa':D She even has some of the personality traits that, even tho I havent met nessa in person....I feel she has just from 'knowing' her through her posts;) Anyhow....we are getting married in a family-only wedding at the lake here. It is really a nice, intimate place, but it will be very small...well...IF my future mother-in-law=) actually doesnt have a heart attack because we havent invited the whole community! But really, when you have five kids...PLUS girlfriends/boyfriends...they can fill up pews just by themselves. OH...and I bought a long deep purple and cream dress on ebay for 20.52...now how is THAT for something beautiful and CHEAP=)...lol.
