He's coming home this weekend!!!

I'm so excited. I feel like I need to go tanning, work out, do all the stuff to make myself feel good. Do you guys have your little rituals you do when you finally see your man for the first time in a long time? It's only been two weeks for me, but it feels like 2 months.

My ritual includes:
manicure
pedicure
waxing
massage
and usually buying one new outfit

Have a great time together :D I don't have a ritual as such, apart from I always make sure to have my hair cut again so that it looks just right

Happy for you Red. I can't offer any suggestions for rituals since I've not had that experience yet. But, I'll be thinking of you. ;)

I'm with you Bella Belle, I found this new massage place by my house, I can have a manicure, pedicure facial and massage for $60!!! I have done it before and for $60 they do a wonderful job, looks like Im going to pamper myself tomorrow!!

When does everyone else get to see their men again? How long has it been since you have seen him last?

I haven't seen Remi since March, literally. Haven't even been able to see him on cam. :(

I don't know when I'll see him again. I'd really love to return to Bucharest this fall, but each time I look at my bank account and then estimate when he'll be able to come here, I'm thinking that it's looking more likely that I won't see him until he comes here. Let's hope that's by next Jan. or Feb.

I haven't seen my boyfriend since July 24. I will see him again in 48 days, October 19. I wish we could fast forward time. By then it will be a total of 12 weeks since we last saw one another. This is the longest we've been apart as of yet. But we have a lot to look forward to. We will be celebrating our birthdays together in the city made for lovers- Paris. They are only a day apart. He'll be 40 the day after I turn 22. :D

WOW a year? How is it being married and not being able to be together, that has to be so hard, I can't even imagine!!! I don't feel so bad now, I thought 2 weeks was bad!!! 12 weeks to a year geez!! How often does everyone talk to eachother? I try to talk to Dan at least once a day, but sometimes we miss eachother's phone calls, or email goes down or what have you. Am I even considered being in a long term relationship? He is 4 hours away.

We talk on average once daily. Sometimes two or more times a day. There have been times when we don't talk for two-three days. That happened recently when he went away to visit his family and to scuba dive in another part of his country. He didn't have cellphone coverage up there so we didn't talk. We email one another ocassionally. We utilize text messaging often throughout the day. We send each other packages all the time. I'd say about once monthly.

Four hours is considered long distance to me. I think anything more than one hour away is long distance.

I read somewhere (can't recall where at the moment maybe in this forum somewhere) that an ldr is any distance that prevents you from being with the one you love as often as you like.

Remi and I talk on the average twice a week through instant messenger only. On a very rare occasion we get to talk on the phone.
