Enduring Long Distance

Long distance relationships don't work mostly because people are too impatient. We live in an "instant everything" society.

Marriage and relationships sometimes seem to have become disposalable if it's not convenient.

Love comes in many forms but for the most part, there is love and there is genuine love.

Genuine love takes time to grow and is solid. Love solely because it's convenient, seldom lasts because one is not really committed. You are not committed because if you look deeply and honestly within yourself you will usually find that it's because of some selfish reason. Love is not always convenient.

Are long distance relationships sometimes frustrating? Of course they are. You want to be together and when you can't, it hurts.

Genuine love hurts sometimes. Real life is like that.

Love is also a four letter word. It's easy to say but sometimes can be difficult to manifest into a reality.

It's hard enough to find the "One" for you. When you do, nothing should stand in the way, neither age nor distance.

If I were fortunate enough to find the girl for me, distance wouldn't matter and I would wait a liftime for her if I had to. I'd rather know one year of complete happiness than a lifetime of never knowing what it is.

If she were to come along, I wouldn't care if she were 18 or 60.

Happiness is what is important. There's not enough of it in this world today.

It's all a mater of determination and commitment.

Whoever you are, I know that you are out there somewhere. I'll wait.

And if I find you and we are miles apart, I'll still wait.

You are worth it.

perfect 10. you are right, this aint easy but the alternative sucks, anything else would be settling. i would rather continue to wait then regret the rest of my life and i know i would. i am blessed i found him or rather that i have been given this gift and i am willing to work or fight or wait for it.

I have two more years before my husband is out of the army and i prayed for this point, i thought if i can make it to the two year part the rest will be gravy, of course it isnt, but i keep at the race and i keep on my path.
