Hi Everyone,
I figured I haven't posted much of an update in awhile, so here goes. Most of you have heard all about the ongoing drama in my life that started somewhere in 2002 and led me to this site. Tom and I split, I was in the dumps, questioning my decision, blah blah blah.
Well, things are good now. Actually, things are great. I'm dating a new guy, trying to take things slow. He's my age (28) and only a few months older than I am. I've known him for a long time, and he made his feelings known to me a few months ago. He claims he has had feelings for a long time but never said anything because of all the turmoil I was dealing with. But I've been seeing a lot of him lately and he is awesome. Very sweet, intelligent (brilliant actually), likes my family, wants all the same things I do. Like I said, we're taking things slow, but things are looking great from here. I'm not too sure that he's taking things as slowly as I am, but I try to keep things on the lighter side when I can. He is talking about the future, wants to take me on trips, etc. So these are good signs that this might be going somewhere.
Work is good too. I'm extremely busy, handling a lot of fairly advanced issues, making more court appearances, second chaired a trial. So these are good things too.
