Hurricane Ivan is bringing us together again!

The state of Florida EOC (Emergency Operations Center) as well as the local chapters of EOC county levels) are advising Floridians to evacuate the state if at all possible. I don't have to work until at least Wednesday right now. We will possibly be closed longer if Ivan hits us.

So, although my house may be blown away by this hurricane, as the new predictions have it coming straight for me, I may get to see my boyfriend sooner than we anticipated. :D

I haven't talked to him yet but I'm hoping that when I tell him tonight he will suggest that I come visit him to get away from Ivan's path. I certainly hope so. If that's the case, we will be seeing eachother tomorrow.

This may sound horrible, but I've never wanted a hurricane or any other severe weather pattern to hit me as much as I do now. It's been more than six weeks since we have seen each other so I'm sure you can all understand my excitment during this time.

Unfortunately, all flights out of Florida are sold out to every US destination. But it seems Ivan is going to miss me so I can't complain. At least I'll still be well, hopefully and I can just wait 5 more weeks to see my boyfriend.

I certainly hope everything went well for you in Florida. I know how aweful it has been there and I'm sure all of us are keeping good thoughts for everyone in Florida . I'm sorry you didn't get to see your guy, but I must say I laughed like crazy when I read your original post where you said you'd never been so happy to hear about a hurricane as you were that day!!! All I can say is that I totally understand. Jeeze!!! The things we do for love!!!!!!:D
