Farscape Returns

how many are excited about this?? personally, i am. i was one of those that e-mail'd my angst to the sci-fi channel when they announced they were taking it off the air.
i'm really looking forward to The Peacekeeper Wars.

Oh, it so warms my heart to find Farscape fans here. I so love love love Farscape and I am so looking forward to seeing John and Eron come back from the dead. If only we were getting more episodes instead of just a 4 hour mini series. Do you all love Firefly too? These two shows make Star Trek look so sad. Just too sophisticated for most viewers.

a 4 hour mini-series???? NO, i refuse to accept that. REFUSE I SAY!
i never understood why they took it off in the first place. something about money, paleeeeeez. apparently it costs too much to make? yeah, and like sg1-atlantis is a cheapo production but they found the money to start that up.

It's always the good shows that don't make it. It just never caught on with the general public. There are more fans of easy to digest tv then shows that make you go hmmmmmm.
You guys in the States are so lucky, this Sunday you get to see the mini-series. Up here in Canada we have to wait for the cost to go down before our cheap space channel will buy it and air it. Such torture.

THE FIRST 2 HOURS WAS FANTASTIC!!!
and i know how you feel about the cheap cable company. ours did a 4 month "preview" thingy and then it was gone for about a year. by the time we got sci-fi it was a year later that Farscape was up for cancellation. i wrote two e-mails in protest. argh :(
i want to get the dvd set of all the seasons. it's the only show i've thought about buying.
i'm so looking forward to the next episode.

Unfortunately most shows on Cable Channels don't make it to the amount of episodes that Major Networks do. I love Farscape, it is a great show. I don't watch anymore because my boyfriend is usually home, but when I was living with my parents, we used to watch it all the time. My dad is the biggest fan. I don't think that I had ever really seen him upset about a series going off the air, but that one hit him hard.
