instead of a nice quiet lunch in the park that i thought my OW was suggesting, it turns out she was suggesting a hike, with the possiblity of lunch!

ok, so i did have a good time with her =) but it wasn't the grand romantic experience i thought it would be last night lol

after the hike and a bit of puttering around, she dropped me off at the metro stop . . . i told her i'd bring her some canadian coffee. just a little thing about everyone here drinking instant coffee. as i gave it to her through her car window, i leaned in for what i thought would be a kiss on the lips, but i thought better of it (some might say chickened out lol) and kissed her on the cheek.

here's the deal, as i've been running it over and over and over again in my mind lol

-she didn't move away from the kiss, even when i was going towards the lips
-she had one of those creeping smiles afterwards

and most importantly she didn't raise the window to ward me off ;)

so, it looks like it went as well as can be expected, but i'm filled with nagging doubts, mostly because she's amazing =)

so now, of course, i can't wait for the next date . . . which falls on me to plan, we'll see what comes up =)

waiting 3 weeks between dates is brutal though . . . especially after the way today ended, on such a "what might she be thinking" note ., . . .but, in the final analysis, it could have gone much worse.

On my first date I expected something wonderful to happen also. But when she dropped me off to get my vehicle, she suddenly said I was too young for her but still we kissed goodbye. So I was sorta bummed driving back home for we had gone out to lunch, saw a movie and had a nice dinner afterwards.

But I persisited and emailed her the next day and told her I thought she was wrong in her judgement of our age difference. Needless to say she asked me over the following Friday to her place for a fabulous weekend. So don't give up but also don't rush things. Patience will be rewarded...good luck.

thanks waxer =)

i'm not really sure what to think about it all, mabye it's best i just put it on the back burner, cause i'm just gonna keep knit picking the kiss on the cheek over and over . . . :P

but you're right about the patence thing . . . no sense in rushing things at this point.

a real kiss by our next date may not be a bad idea though, especially considering that there's about 3 weeks in between em

JOC...why do you have to wait 3 weeks again?

she's a paramedic, works thu-sun, and only gets a weekend off every three weeks.

the rest of the week is her recooperation day, spending time with her mom (who's not well) etc . . .

hey guys!

i just got free tickets to paris for her next weekend off, hand me down from the boss. basically early morning on satrday, return late that night

think i'll wait til next week before mentioning it, but i figure if she's ok with it, that'll be definately a good sign, and probably the best place ever for a first kiss :D
