Happy Happy News!!!

I am back :)
Just alittle summary of my life,

I told some of you guys that I am in a relationship with a man that is 19 years to my senior. We have been together for 2 years but I have known him for about 4 years. I moved in with him about 2 years ago, and we are happy. You know we have the occasional fights here and there but its apart of life.

So we are finally engaged!!! It was so romantic, we had a lovely thai dinner, then we went back to the hotel room which had a beautiful view of a Millrace with lots of little ducks there, the sky was clear and lots of stars, we were on the balcony and he popped the question, i nearly fainted and I accepted.

So i just wanted to know on how to go about in preparing for the wedding, and such???

any suggestions???

Congratulations! I second the recommendation for The Knot. That place was extremely helpful when I planned our wedding.

Yay your back...does that mean your computer is up and running? I hope so. This is such exciting news!!! I'm doing my happy dance for you right now :D

my computer is still down, I am just using the campus computer, but hopefully they will be back up soon.

I can't wait till the wedding, we still haven't set the date yet, but hopfully it will be soon. I just got a wedding planner. I know definetly I want an outdoor wedding. Probably off like a mountain hill top or maybe a beach wedding. Both J and I love the beach so it probably will be a beach wedding. It'll be a small wedding, somewhere in the spring time. OOOHHhhh i can't wait.

I know I want to give something special to the guests, something like personalized cards, or this one thing I saw on a wedding site its a Porcelain Shopping Bag personalized. SO many little details to plan.

I'll keep you guys updated on the details!!! I'll be on more often when i get my computer back in running again.

I just I'd show you guys my enagagement ring, it looks like that but set in white gold, I love the matching band that it comes along with it. Now its a matter of getting the band that J wants, he wants a titanium band that is piped cut. It looks ssooo good on him when he tried it on.

Thats a gorgeous ring.. Mine is similar .. My band is the same although I have a princess cut diamond with a really thick band for an engagement ring :) I love my diamonds...!!!
