Welcome to Ageless---and Yeah, what Nessa said is the best way to get to know people here. You could also try answering and placing your own personal Ad. :D

I saw this mentioned in a thread on the OW/YM side and I think it is a great idea.

A religion and spirituality section.

It seems like their have been a lot of posts referencing spirituality lately and with the holiday season approaching I imagine there will be even more.

Just a thought.

hey!

I'm truly to happy have found this place, it has already helped me a lot... knowing that i'm not alone out there...lol
But I am missing something here, and that is a small symbol under the avatars that indicate if the person is a male or a female... would that be possible to do??

except from that... this is a great place!!!

joelstrouble

this is a bulletin site, right?
Well I' m a member on a another forum (music) and they have symbols... anyways it was just an idea... cause I don't always if its a male or a female... hey I guess if we get that her, we also have to have a symbole for when couples are wrighting together...:p

EDIT: i looked up your site, i'll be sure to check it out later... right now i'm at work...

It was only thought... I just thought it would be nice to know if a reply was a womans perspective or a mans perspective...I do think that man an woman does have different perspectives on matters.... but that is my personal opinion though...

anyways once again, I'm happy to have found this place, it has already given me a lot of confidence, and trust in that a relation between a OW and a YM can work out just fine...

At the very top of the screen, just under the blue banner, click the "New Posts" link and it will show you everything since the last time you logged in. :)

Duh; I cannot remember how upload an avatar. It tells me that mine are to big. However I have done it before and somehow made them the appropriate size.

Thankyou for anyone's help.

Cheers!

Dont know if this has been asked somewhere else, but...

What is the key-chain looking thing at the bottom of people's posts, with the number in it? thanks

Genevieve

The keychains with numbers are the years of age-gap in those member's relationships.

I am sorry to disagree. I would bet that among Ageless members there are people who do not believe in God, others do not believe in organized religions, others believe in Karma, others in Astrology, some people believe in Jesus, others don't. I do not believe in Santa.

It would be a source of division and fights rather than a happy forum.

Hello Trish and welcome! I am one of the moderators here and am more than happy to help you. Looks like you figured out how to post your first post, because well.. here it is! Now, if you can't create a new thread, it might be that the administrators have not yet moved you from a non-confirmed member to a confirmed one. I'll follow up with the administrator for you to find out what that situation is.

If you need me you can send me a private message. Just click on my name to the right of my avatar and a drop down menu should come up, and one of the choices is to send me a private message. You can then send me a message and let me know what questions you may have.

About the chatroom, no there are no designated times when we chat. It's open 24/7 to whomever wants to use it. Usually it's busiest on a weeknight in the evenings about 8-10 pm eastern time in the U.S., but that really varies depending upon who is interested in chatting.

Sometimes, someone will post a thread in the chit chat section announcing that they are going into chat in case someone else wants to join.

Simply send an email or PM to the moderator or administrator. Please remember that your posts will remain on the site but your user name will be changed to Guest.

I have tried emailing so many of the mods, but there email is turned off. How else do I unsub/remove profile without asking here. Anyway.......you have my permission to delete my profile (all of it).........I have found someone! Thank you!

Hi, everyone. I'm kinda thankful to have found this site. I'd like to asked about tourist visa in netherlands. What if someone granted a tourist visa to netherlands to visit a bf maybe, then if the girl gets there and they decided to marry, would that be allowed for them since her visa is a tourist visa only? I'm just so curious bout it. I really hope to get an answer. Take care you all! God bless!:)

He is a dutch national/citizen. I am from philippines and a filipina. Hehe. Neither of us are married before. Never been married that is. Could anybody help me with this? I would appreciate it. Thank you.

You will need to contact the Netherlands Embassy to ask what kind of visa is required in order for a filipina to marry a Dutch citizen in the Netherlands. You should also ask what documents you will need to bring on your trip, such as your birth certificate and notarized proof of having no other marriages.

Here is the Embassy's address and phone number:

9th Floor, King's Court Building,
2129 Chino Roces Avenue,
Makati City, Metro Manila,
Philippines

Phone:
+63 2 812-5981

And here is the Embassy's website:

You might also try posting your question on

Best wishes! :)

If anyone could notify me of anything that I need to know...

when can I post a thread of my own? and add pictures to my things...
what are the keychains about?

I just wanted to say hello to all...

There is a AgeMatch dating site, where you can create a profile and search for ages that youre interested in. You can do a certain amount of corresponsdence for free.

I dont think its related to this board, but this board is really not a dating site.

Unfortunately, since our recent upgrade, members are not able to delete their own threads anymore. So, you'd need to send a private message to a member of the moderation team to request that they take care of that for you. Just remember, when you ask us to delete a thread that you create, it does remove other members posts that would have been written in response to your thread.

By the way, I have edited your poll for you to include the missing years. If you still need it deleted, just send me a PM.

Is there a way to search for a member's name anymore? My memory is so bad; I used to use it to find the name of people to whom I wanted to send a PM after they hadn't posted for awhile.

joelstrouble
09-10-2007, 12:22 AM
You go up to the top of the page and there you will find a drop down menu callled Quick Linksand under that one you will find Miscellaneous and member list ;)
You can also use the Search menu I think!

About the other question I'm afraid the only solution to that is to delete your posts (or account) I'm not sure if it's possible to the last one :o

Anyways, Most people I know in real life would not be able to find me online because it is not common knowledge what I call myself on the internet, but if they do that's fine too... because I have never said something on the internet that I couldn't say in real life.

So the best thing to do if you worry about people get to know something about you from the internet, then create a username that noone can recognize you by and not leave to much peronal info about where your from and putting up pictures of yourself and your family....

Oh, okay, I thought maybe there was a "trick" to hiding our posts.

I understand what you're saying, but it's still very creepy to find out that everything you've ever posted is there for non-members to read. It's weird. I wish I could say that I was 100% confident that I had never posted anything that might be embarrassing somewhere else! :o
