That’s how I would start a conventional personals ad. The ad might go on… but be mostly abbreviated and full of obscure initials like WPM or LTR or some other such military-type nomenclature that I am not sure anybody really understands. How do two people ever find each other when you have to navigate the winding trails of personals ad date-speak?? The good news is that here you get to expand and tell more about yourself and what you are seeking.
So here is my description… At work I like being in charge and am not afraid to take calculated risks and make decisions. I'm considered smart, confident, professional and ambitious. But away from work I am totally different... not so serious, easy going, fun loving, warm and a good friend. Physically, I am a white male, just over 6 feet tall with dark (graying) hair, blue eyes, broad shoulders, a medium build and a great smile. I am professionally employed and have a successful career based on LaSalle Street in the Loop. This year I turned 50 but look 10 years younger. Most consider me handsome, but that is always for you to decide. My friends describe me as having a good sense of humor, to be easy going (away from work) and down-to-earth. My home is in downtown Chicago (River North) with a fabulous view of the skyline, river and Lake Michigan. I’m separated for over a year and live here alone. My passions include good food (dining out and eating in), travel, aviation, history and racing. Activities of interest include plays and movies, reading, music, travel together, snuggling, candlelight dinners, passionate kisses, laughing and long conversations.
