i'm watching "the prophecy" at the moment and i have to say

walken is a god of b movies

there's just SOMETHING about him that is so dang appealing.

i'm pleased to see that he's gotten some well-deserved recognition in the past few years too
and the fat boy slim (?) video of him dancing is .....omg, i wanna BE him, too cool

He is the BOMB.

I read a great interview with him a couple of years ago. He said that he reads his lines over and over and over...intentionally trying to say them in some cadence that is totally separate from what the words mean.

He's a cool dude.

I agree... I've loved him in various movies since I was really, really young. One of my all time favorite actors.

... one of the first flicks I saw him in as a young teener was the one where him and his female partner/co-star create this brain tape that can record memories, and the partner puts it on while she is dying of a heart attack... can't remember the name, but wow that movie CREEPED ME OUT. It was simply AMAZING and I saw is a zillion times on HBO. LOL.

But, I will watch any movie with him in it without reservation! No matter how B it is. :D

Let me say, that Christopher Walken is the man, agreed. And when he does that skit on Saturday Night Live, where he plays that creepy guy in the hotel room, it is sooo funny!!!!

The movie was called Brainstorm......I believe that it was the first one I ever saw him in as well, and just like you I have seen it over and over again...everytime it is on I sit and watch it again like the first time.

The MAN was on SNL last night during the audience participation segment of the Best of Tom Hanks.

He's so damn weird...he's the bomb.

He starred in a film where when he touched you, he could see your future.

Martin Sheen was in it too. He was a soon to be president,,, who would ignite nuclear wwIII.......

Walken had other ideas.......

great film.

I believe that was The Dead Zone, written by Stephen King. LOVE that move, and the book.

Have NO idea who could have played that part that well.

The Dead Zone is now a series on USA or it was with Anthony Michael Hall with I believe the same premise. Just a random piece of knowledge.

He was the dad in "Blast from the Past" as well, very Clark Kent-ish, and did the devil in "The Omen" series...nobody can scare the pants off me by being so understated like he can.

But I could watch the Fatboy Slim video for hours....
