Has anyone seen Saw?

It looks freakin' freaky, but the local paper absolutely panned it.

I LOVE scary movies.

Yep... Litical and I went to see it on Halloween (late movie, even) and it was pretty darn interesting.

Things to note (possible spoilers)... the main actor is the guy from Princess Bride and I honestly couldn't get past that... the humor used (quite a bit, which offset the scary factor a LOT) was so reminicent of Princess Bride sometimes I couldn't help going ~ Oh, there's the guy from Princess Bride... AGAIN.

I think that it could have been better had all the actors been more "unknowns." But, that's just my humble opinion, of course.

It was nowhere NEAR as scary as I thought it would be.. in fact, I laughed more than anything and didn't get the "jump" factor AT ALL. But, it was an interesting story...

The Grudge was creepier and more "jump" scary oriented.

really?
I was jumpy during the Grudge....mainly because I'm a jumpy person. But the previews for Saw look so much scarier. I'm nervous to this movie, but the boyfriend really wants to see it.
Yikes!

Go see it EM. It's nowhere near as scary as The Grudge. In fact, its FUNNY most of the time, in a sick way.
