Wierd group names, wierder titles.

While browsing here I had my collection playing and it dawned om me that there are some wierd band/group names out there...

Smashmouth is one of them... great music though, I love "All Star" and the Monkees remake "I'm a believer".

Definately not a new phenomonononon (sp? lol), with bands like
Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick and Titch and The Bonzo Dog DoohDah Band out there. But theres a helluva lot of funky names around. Pink Vomit Waffles, anyone? Creed started out as "Naked Toddler".

We have one or two local bands with untranslatable names as well and some you dont mention in mixed company without cencoring either! :-)

I love the title song to that album. I haven't had the pleasure of hearing the rest....I guess now I'll have to check it out.

The whole album is simply fabulous. My 9 year old son and I dance like crazy to it... sing it in the car, etc., etc.. He loves swing. Hard not to. Hehehehee...

Drunk Daddy (one of the later tracks on the album)... shudder fills me with such angst! I have a major love/hate relationship with that song!!!
