my philosphy on towels.....you're supposedly clean when you get out of the tub/shower so why wash em?

so i hang em up. i have about 4 hanging up in my bathroom right now, i use one to dry off, one to throw my fur up in. i use em about 3-4 times before i chunk em in the wash. and the thing is....they still smell 'april fresh' but i get paranoid lol.

my boys are already 'trained' to go hang their towel up on a doorknob somewhere after they dry off...even the 2 year old. washing towels takes up alot of dang water and electricity! plus, you're clean!!! lol

don't ya love it when you supply motivation to your friends and they don't show appreciation in the slightest????

Added Edit: Another sleepless night, Finally up posting to take my mind off from the many random thoughts in my head...fear & worry have a way of keeping you awake many long hours...am struggling with trust issues again in many areas of my life right now...many of them are founded...a few are not. If only I could feel that most people do not have the intent of hurting or lying to you I think I'd be ok...haven't gotten to that point yet....still very doubful and skeptical about certain things,,,being able to trust, believe and have more faith would make me feel alot better about life in general...gotta keep working on it...just have to keep on trying. Now it's back to try and get a little bit of sleep. :)

heres a random thought... why did i choose my work over a relationship? Now here I am 46 all alone and doubt very much that a wife and children will ever become a part of my life. horribily depressing... oh well mayube this was my destiny..to be alone..

Yep...uh huh.....Same thing happening in my house. (Though they arent pennies over here in holland.) He is fascinated by the copper colored 5 cents that we have over here. His piggy bank is full of them and from time to time he likes to take them out and count them. After that he triomphantly declares that he has 'enough' money to buy the new Transformer toy that he has been eyeing in Toys R us.

Ofcourse he has no where near that.....but the way his face lights up when he discovers that he has more 5 cents than the last time he counted them, makes me smile. He is the sweetest child ever.... :D

Was at my cousin's wedding. She looked beautiful in her dress...

Broke a freaking tie rod on the left front. Thank god it happened at at a half mile an hour and not 55. Scary to think what would of happened if my dad was driving that car on his way to or from work...going 70 on the interstate...and that tie rod snapped. Probably would of been killed...

Perfect relaxation technique...while taking a shower sit down in the bathtub and let the warm water run over your face and neck..meditate and relax..been doing this whenever I have time lately (which isn't often) but it really helps ....ahhhhhhhh....now I can get on with the rest of my day. :D

Yay Trace!! Sometimes, you can tell by looking in the other person's eyes that they're just as excited to see you as you are, them. It's great to be around someone who isn't trying to be 'cool' about the fact that they're happy to see your face.

On my thirteenth birthday my Pop planted a peach tree in our yard and said it was MY tree. I was like... cool... whatever. Being much more interested in GUYS than peaches and trees and all that.

A year and a half goes by and that dang tree didn't just grow a FEW peaches. NOOOO... it had to grow the most INSANE amount of peaches you ever did see from ONE freakin' tree!!! Three GIANT bushels full o' peaches.

Since it was "MY" tree ~ my Dad made my 14 year old boy obsessed self pluck peaches, peel peaches, cut up peaches and help him make peach jams and peach pies and send out peaches to the neighbors and it was a veritible PEACH PIT of a summer.

I swear, to this day, I can't even so much as TOUCH the things, let alone consider allowing a single foul drop of the stuff near my face...

Lucky for me... and maybe it was all the cursin' I did sittin' at that table peeling and pitting these stupid HAIRY fruits... that tree didn't so much as produce another peach and a couple years later DIED.

Too funny, Fos!!! That brings back memories of our garden when I was a teen... darn it, if my brother and I didn't have to work in it everyday throughout the summer. We hated picking green beans and peas... and worse yet was snapping the green beans and shelling the peas. Talk about torture... we would have paper bags full of those things. So, we would do about half of them and throw the other half over the fence into the woods. :p

We have a new show here in Quebec. Its called (I am translating as best I can) "pass it on" and here how it goes. They did one good deed to a person. No major things like having a new house or stuff like that. One example was a family of 10 or 12 I dont remember and they didnt have a table to all eat together. So someone made them a diner table so they could eat all together. Than those that got the table have to do something nice to someone else. And the chain keeps going that way.

ok some of you "old dawgs" might remember when i blacked my eye trying to get toilet paper off the roll......well, i think the bathroom is out to get me. specially when you add to 'the toilet paper incident' the time that the light globe above the potty fell off and hit me in the head while i was tee tee'n, some of ya'll may remember that gem too.

i'm brushing my teeth. normal right? well, i'm brushing the back-side of my top teeth and my toothbrush suddenly slips and i slam said demon stick into my left eye. -.-

so, i'm trying to rinse it out and am encountered with a sensation i never thought i'd have to endure......toothpaste in my eye.

i swear, i'm getting a bubble wrap suit. :rolleyes:

I will add my eye story. I am a klutz and I'm fine with that.

Early September, I intercept the New Yorker because I have the mailbox key (its usually on my fiances key ring but he just got back from traveling the day before.) WOO HOO! For once, its all mine first!
Lo and behold...its the stupid style issue because its stupid fashion week. Grrr...
I lay down in bed and read the three articles that are worth reading to me. I must fall asleep at some point because the magazine ends up to my right. Maybe an hour later (can't really tell because I was sleeping) I roll over and open my eyes for a nano second. In a million to one shot, the corner of the foldout bananna republic ad goes straight into the middle of my left eye. It didn't hurt at first, but about 10 minutes later...OH MY GOD!

By morning, left eye is a total blur and bleeding. Hours later at the ER (its a Sunday of course) I'm told its straight and deep and right in my "central visual axis." If it hit anywhere else, I wouldn't have a loss of vision. ER sends me home, says go to eye doctor.

Of course this whole time I can't sleep. When I get tired enough to try to nod off, eyeball would relax and roll and send a sharp searing pain through me and snap me back awake. It was like, military torture.

Next day at the eye doctor, its so infected that's it nearly swollen shut. Eyes apparently entice the herpes virus (that lies dormant in most bodies) to come infest it, which is exactly what happened. I had to take almost 2 weeks of genital herpes medications to get it back to normal.

Even now, months later, everytime I rub it wrong the way, the cut will open up again.

Moral of the story: DO NOT SLEEP WITH ANY FOREIGN OBJECTS IN YOUR BED BECAUSE ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!
