Genevieve 11-13-2004, 02:38 PM Since the old one was *ahem* inadvertanly deleted! Here's the new Smallville thread!
I was a bit disappointed in what seemed like Charmed and the Witches of Eastwick VS. Kansas Farmboy but guess it was ok. The episode Spell also made it official: Kryptonians have no rhythm, and cannot dance! LOL
This week's upcoming episode:
The WB's Official Description: JANE SEYMOUR GUEST-STARS - After Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) is accused of killing a young woman, Clark (Tom Welling) sets out to prove his innocence and turns to an unlikely source for help - Lionel (John Glover). Swearing he is a changed man, Lionel offers Clark insight into the crime but he asks for something in return. Meanwhile, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) meets Jason's (Jensen Ackles) parents and has a vivid flashback of the incident in Paris, leading her to suspect that Jason's mother (guest star Jane Seymour) was there when she got her tattoo.
Genevieve 11-14-2004, 08:05 PM Kyrptonite Sweeper! Save Lowell county! Wanna play?

VenusScorpio 12-27-2004, 11:22 PM Ok...did you see the prviews for the upcoming new year on SmallVille? Who is the girl Clark's about to marry? I'm wondering if he's under some kind of spell...lol  Anyhow, can't wait to watch the new shows.
Genevieve 12-28-2004, 12:11 AM That is Alicia. She was on last season.. she's what we call a "meteor freak".. lol, she can transport herself anywhere at will. Last season she became a Clark stalker, till they put her away. The only thing that stops her is lead.. she can't pass through it. It looks as though Clark is on red kryptonite here. As you know.. red K makes Clark a bad boy. So he is apparently under the influence of redK.
Genevieve 12-30-2004, 04:51 PM Well, and now they are showing episodes from Seasons 2 and 3! What is that? I hope they don't lose viewership because of that. This seems too long of a time period not to have new episodes.
VenusScorpio 12-31-2004, 02:18 PM Thanks Gen...I remember now. Plus, the other night when we were watching Eric thought perhaps , finally it was a new episode...NOT! He realized it was an episode from maybe the second season.
I don't understand television seasons too well, but I was a bit surprised that they weren't showing new episodes. Don't they realize we look forward to SmallVille...lol
Genevieve 01-27-2005, 09:33 AM I quoted this from K-Site but it's what I thought as well.
Ok here goes...
1) There was no point to the episode.
2) How did Alicia know about the Red K?
3) How did she know to find a Red K ring at The Torch?
4) She takes a bullet for Clark to protect his secret, but Clark throws that out the window when he throws Doc 60 feet through the air with one hand.
5) Alicia gets shot in the chest, and is released from the hospital the next day...Huh? Last time I checked, gunshot wounds aren't a one day stay in the hospital...
6) Why in the blue hell would Martha be upset with Clark when she knows that he was on Red K?
Maybe I'm being too picky, but the whole episode felt thrown together
Also, way too much sexy stuff in this episode. When did this show become softcore teenage porn? I mean, come on, I'm trying to watch this show with my kids here. Between Clark and Alicia, then Lana thinking the way to keep Jason is to sleep with him.. jeeeeez. I realize this is an issue teens deal with, but seemed as though over half the episode was spent on it. I did appreciate that Tom W. actually cried.. I think his acting is improving!
Ohh.. and next week, someone finds out Clark's secret.. woohoo.. I know who it is! ;)
Genevieve 02-14-2005, 08:31 PM Don't miss the next week's episode.. the introduction of Krypto! Superman's dog!
SUPERDOG TO THE RESCUE - While driving, Lois (Erica Durance) accidentally hits a dog and brings it back to the farm to heal. Clark (Tom Welling) realizes this is no ordinary dog after the pup lifts up a car to retrieve a ball. Clark and Lois learn the dog is a product of an aborted LuthorCorp experiment and is being used to commit crimes, but when Lois is kidnapped by the robbers and Clark is weakened by kryptonite, it is up to the dog to save them. Meanwhile, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) questions Jason's (Jensen Ackles) involvement in his mother's (guest star Jane Seymour) schemes
rkstud632 02-28-2005, 05:35 PM How long have you guys been watching Smallville? i have been since the first season. I have all 3 seasons on dvd and will wait later this year when season 4 will be out. What are your fav. episodes?
Genevieve 03-05-2005, 12:05 PM I totally missed the first season and part of the second season. I didn't really start watching Smallville, until I bought the first season DVD set. After that, I was hooked. I also have season I, II, and III on DVD. I do have to say that of late, I think the show is going downhill a bit. I personally do not like the introduction of Lois Lane, and the way she is written as a beer drinking highschool flunky, who has no interest whatsoever in journalism. Yet, we are supposed to believe that she becomes a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, and is the soulmate of Superman. I don't see any of that in the way they have written this character. I almost wish they would not have had her in SV at all, and just saved it for later. Also, the entire Lana story line is rather lame. And.. any episodes with more Lex and Lionel are always welcomed. It's great to watch them in action.
VenusScorpio 03-06-2005, 05:40 PM We did watch the night of "Krypto".
I'm not certain what season it was...late 2002 maybe or early 2003....moreso this last season though, since I met Eric/Pariah. He knows so much more on what's going on than I do. He is my "Superman":D
