Not too many folks remember Eric. He was the temporary replacement for Peter Criss (KISS drummer) during the mid-80s.

I remember Eric.
I live about 20 minutes from his hometown and if you go to a local flea market here you can see his parents. They set up a table with Eric Carr and KISS memorabilia. He looked just like his Mom!
His parents are very sweet; my ex bought a whole lot of stuff from them as he grew up here and saw Eric play with KISS often.

He was actually a perm. replacement. If he had not died, he still would have been in the band. I'll never forget his drum solo: http://www.msnusers.com/AgelessLoveUnofficalMemberPhotoAlbum/ms683.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=3019 . It's not the clearest pic, but hey...I was 14 at the time. To quote Gene from 'Kiss: Extreme Close Up': "Much, much, better drummer than Peter Criss."

Not only was he permanent, he brought a measure of precision to the band that had never been there. A much better drummer than Peter Chris.
