Was awesome.
Pixar broke away from the Disney sterotype of a single family home and made a flim about a family complete with the typical day to day problems as well as the un-typical problem of being superheros.
Only they aren't normal superheros, they are supressed superheros. No longer allowed to use their powers they try to blend in and hide their speical natures, which I think is a key message to the pre-teen/teen crowd: To much blending in makes you nothing. "If everyone is speical, then no one is." Is repeated by both the younger son and the villian of the movie.
The part that brought a tear to my eye tho was when Mr. I and Elastigirl are fighting over who gets to go after the evil robot and he confesses "I'm not strong enough." and everyone thinks that since the robot defeated him once it'll do it again, but in truth he means....
Oh, wait, I almost gave it away.
Take the whole family and see this great movie!
