Cool Whip...is a godsend. Isn't pumpkin pie just a vehicle for Cool Whip?

Same with flaming hot salsa. Aren't chips just an excuse for getting mongo amounts of salsa down the gullet?

Then there's chocolate and peanut butter. Best way to eat them? No, not a Reese's. One oversized spoon, a jar of peanut butter, and a can of hershey's chocolate. Yumm!

What's yours?

I absolutely LOVE Eggs Benedicts, too... anytime I eat at a place that has it on the menu, I ALWAYS order it. LOL.

A caper, nightengale, is the bud of a planet used in some dishes, but it tastes a lot like an onion. It's tiny, round and green... sort of like a pea, but MUCH better. (And my Dad IS a marvelous cook. His breakfast is my church. If the drive to his house didn't suck, I'd still go EVERY weekend. I did for 10 years after college and now go once a month).

I also LOVE Litical's steaks. YUM. Need to go grocery shopping and get some thick new york strips.

---fossy, i'd drive like u do if i got a dad as great of a cook as yours ...btw, thx 4 the explanation on capers...i've learned quite a bit of everything including vocabulary since i became a fossy follower ...rock on, g/f ;)
--- as far as my favorite food is concerned...hmmm...gosh, not much of a picky eater...anything heathy foods minus cheese would do it for me .. oh dear...that just minuses out a lot of things ...i get an allergic reaction to ordinary supermarket cheeses...the ones bought from trader joe's are ok but they're awfully expensive...

A caper comes from a plant in the mediterranean. They are smaller than an olive, but they are pickled in vinegar and salt. I think they taste a lot like a green olive. They add a nice salty, olivey taste to foods.YUM!!

My favorite food is FOOD! Plain and simple! But on the average, a typical/perfect meal day of my favorite foods for me is:

Breakfast: 4-5 scrambled eggs w/cheese, several slices of bacon, 3 sausages, 1-2 pancakes, yogurt, milk, orange juice, and coffee and of course my supplements.

Lunch: Chicken (baked, cooked, grilled, fried, I don't care), or Peachy's chicken cooked any way, fries or tata'(potatoes) wedges, some type of veggie, rolls, cobbler, coke or juice.

Dinner: Peachy's catfish cooked any way, mac-n-cheese, Texas toast w/cheese and garlic, squash, mashed potatoes, pie and ice-cream, and coke or juice.

If I don't get my paws on any of those, my other favorites are pizza, cheese/hamburgers, taco bell, mickey d's, wendy's, chicken alfredo, steak, spinach artichoke dip, lots of chick-fil-A, krispy kremes, milkshakes, my mother's enchiladas, chalupas/tostadas, tortillas, sopa, sopapillas, and I have a whole lot more but you get the picture. I love food and'll eat just about anything. I'm not into all the fancy stuff, though I should try them.

Anyway, sorry if this made you hungry, but I'm off to go eat!

You DID make me hungry! GEEZ. I think I'm going to go get myself and big ole sloppy hot open face turkey sandwich from Chicken Out with mashed taters and gravy on a french roll! MMMmMMMmm...

And you know... I think there's nothing on your list I don't like myself, except cat fish. I don't like fish at all. :o Any other seafood, yep, but fish? Can't stand the smell. LOL. But McD's, Taco Bell, Wendy's. I'm sure I'd LOVE Chick Filet, but they use peanut oil and my kids are severely allergic to peanuts, so I can't go there. :( I'm afraid to even come home with peanut oil on my hands or face or something. SUX!

And since I'm about to tear out my entire kitchen, I don't want to grocery shop ~ so I'm probably going to go over KFC tonight and get a HUGE bucket of chicken for dindin. ;)
