new to this - advice?

Hello,
first post here, so kinda nervous. I am 30, single, professional - and I am interested in a relationship with the right lady about 10-15 years older. I have enjoyed dating relationships with ladies closer to my age, but find the intelligence, confidence, curves and perspective of older women SO very attractive. I am looking for relating to someone in all aspects of life, not just the physical (as the Mrs Robinson stereotype connotes). However, I have found it difficult to romantically pursue most older women because they tell me I am too young for them or that I couldn't possibly be attractive to them compared to younger women. The truth is, I find older women more physically attractive. Any advice? For those who are enjoying age-gap relationships OW/YM - how did you get started? Any input is welcome!! Thanks!

I don't think it's that much different than finding a woman your own age. Most older women probably won't initiate a relationship because of the age difference because 1) they've never been in a lg. age gap relationship and it just never occured to them, 2) there is societal scorn, so they won't initiate or 3) they really aren't interested.

I'm 54 and have never initiated a relationship with a younger guy. But I've had three younger guys (in their 20's) all initiate them with me. The last one lasted 3 years. I had one person call me a "letch" for being in the relationship, but since I wasn't the pursuer, I didn't take it personally. Most people don't understand such a relationship. I found mine to be amazingly free because the issue of marriage and children was not a consideration.

I've always been flattered as hell, trust me. Any woman who is open to it will be as well. The first two were strictly physical, but the last one was an interesting relationship based on friendship. They're out there, just stay alert!
