Shameless Braggin'!

Okay, there's probably a thread about this somewhere but I'm too excited to find it.

My honey sent me FLOWERS! :)

I just got a call from the flower shop this morning that said there was an order of flowers that was about to be delivered, and would I be home this morning to receive them? Damn straight I'll be home!!! :D

(And yes, I made sure it was Goldenhawke who sent them -- fortunately we were online just before he had to go on campus to write his finals.)

I haven't seen them yet, but I'll let everyone know what they're like when they arrive -- right after I text message my sweetie to say a big THANK YOU! :)

These flowers are freakin' GINORMOUS! He said online that he sent me a potted plant because he didn't think having cut flowers wilt before Christmas would be a very good present... so I was expecting a pretty little African violet or something.

Instead I get a gorgeous, magnificent, brilliant crimson poinsettia! And WOW, is this thing HUGE! I literally carried it around the room for awhile, trying to find a surface to set it down on that wouldn't be completely overwhelmed by it. I finally decided on the top of my TV -- because it'd take over most of the dining room table!

And the card was wonderful... not gonna share that though, a girl's gotta have some secrets! :p

Wow! Christmas came early this year... but I LOVE it! I'm gonna reward him well when he flies up this weekend, that's for sure... ;)
