To the webmaster for ageless

I for one am sick of looking at that couple of the month whom no one seems to know who they are. lol Could we possibly have real couples we know on there each month? That would be fun and fun to look at.......what do the rest of yall think?

They were Ellyn and Jason. Probably still are, as a matter of fact, but that's neither here nor there.

He's from England, she's from the US, they were 45 and 30 at the time of that pic, and married for over two years.

They have now been the couple of the month for over FIVE years, beginning in October of 1999.

They're from Washington state, or at least were then, so if anyone sees them, tell them they're like an insitution.

Yeah, an animated gif like the one on the friendfinder banner at the top of the site would be really easy for someone like Dan or Jerry to make - that would be cool! :cool:

as for that picture on the left however, I've seen it in a couple of other places UNRELATED to older women and younger men, which kind of freaked me out, only because I've seen it here SO much. Those were professional models I'm assuming and wonder what the picture was originally done for...

It was done for lovestories.com, which used to be hosted by something like suite101, or one of those. then when ageless split from lovestories, the picture went along. lovestories still exists I think, just as a writer's site. When Alanna sold the site to Rob and Angela, the look didn't change, including the mystery couple. I think they are models.
I think the picture actually belonged to the hosting site for the original lovestories.
Ageless started as a section on there, along with things like, interracial love, military, long-distance, etc.

Like Mrs. H, I have seen this exact discussion before however, I always appreciate hearing the history of Ageless. Isn't it incredible and special that we still have members here that know the whole history of the site?

I think one of the measures of our community is the sheer number of really long-term members we have here.

And I know why that is, marcy. Because the people here are absolutely amazing... we have our little troubles, but I tell ya. I think I'm in love with ya all.
