I've had....

a fun time for the last several days with my granddaughter who is five...her mother, my daughter, had to have a tonsillectomy last week...

what has struck me is how weird and wonderful it is to have someone else in my household. another living, breathing human being...it's been so long since I've had anyone around for this many days in a row. this morning we got up and danced before we even made breakfast...wonderful!

the joy of a child is gift and a miracle to be around.

thanks...she's hanging in there; we went to visit her yesterday...you're right, it's NO picnic. she looked eerily similar to a ghost.

maya and i have been having a lot of fun however...we're drinking tea this morning and acting silly!!!

my daughter decided to have a child EARLY (age 19). she said, "i don't want to be an OLD mother like you were mom." nice.
