Hello everyone,
I've been away for sometime, a few of you might know (maybe remember) me. I've had a car accident and, although I have stayed home 24/7 for a while now, I haven't been posting nor reading the posts.
Now that I'm back, I wish I can meet some old friends and make new ones as well.
I have a question though... Is there anyone else from Latin America left on Agelesslove?
Well, a good Saturday night everybody,
See you.
Paulo

I'm not from Latin America but I have lived in Venezuela, and have visited Mexico and Costa Rica. I speak Spanish fluently and can read Portuguese, with a bit of help from the dictionary. I'm writing a book on a Latin American subject.
So, Paulo, if you're the only genuine Latin American here, maybe I can be considered an "honorary" Latin American, so you won't be entirely alone!

Hi Christina, how are you doing? Thanks for the welcome.
Yes, I wanted so much to go somewhere that I ended up staying home for a loooong time (and I still have to).
Marie, no kidding you can read Portuguese? Oh I bet you can, you're a very talented girl.
How was your party last night?

I can read it with a dictionary. But I can't speak it! For that, I would need to study the grammar with a good book, and have some pronunciation instruction and conversation practice with a native speaker (can you recommend someone??? ;) ).

It was very nice, but a number of the guests have known each other for a very long time and had previous connections in earlier professional situations, so they spent a lot of time talking about people I had never heard of. I spent a lot of time sitting quietly and listening, which is fine 'cause I'm basically introverted.

Well Paulo....good to see you, I remember your charming picture. :-)
Hope you are recovering from your accident!! I am not from South America, but my honey is! He is living here in CA with me now, but he is from Chile and he went to school in Brazil.....let me just say that South America is the most beautiful place to live!!I have visited there only once, but we plan on moving there someday and having a house built on the beach. :-)
Hope to see you around more!!
