and i've googled but i don't know which method to trust....pledge? toothpaste? vaseline? turtle wax?
i see where it says to wipe from center to edge in a str8 line or you may scratch it irreversably but i don't know which method to use.
and dangit !! i wanted to listen to my 'Disturbed' cd :mad:

I've never personally tried to repair a scratched cd, however, the toothpaste method is the one that I've heard used more frequently. I can't guarantee that it would work and I would be weary about what toothpaste I would use to try this with because I believe each toothpaste has different ingredients. In other words, not sure what would be too abrasive or not.
I think you can also buy a repair kit from Wal-Mart.

My local used CD store sells a product called D-Skratch. I used it to repair a couple of my CDs and it worked like a charm.
It's in a fairly distinctive triangular box. Comes with repair paste, a washable soft cloth and instructions.

because upon further research, i've seen alot of testimonials saying to NOT use toothpaste lol
i'm going to the mall today, might stop by the computer store there
