Fighting sleepMerAlove23 01-14-2005, 12:21 PM OMG My son has always usually gone down somewhat easy... but last night and right now... he's so tired I can tell but he won't sleep.... ARGGGHHHH Any ideas??? fos4snt 01-14-2005, 12:30 PM The only times my babies couldn't sleep was when they were coming down with something... or had gas! LOL. ... keep your eye on his temp and or check him out to make sure its not GAS or something else. Many times it was just gas and some mylecon (sp?) drops helped wonders. ;) ~phosphorescent MerAlove23 01-14-2005, 12:40 PM His baths are in the morning.... and at night time is relax time... I either set him in his swing.... or have him sit with me... I give him his bottle at 8:30ish....change his diaper, Put him in his crib I do the kisses and I love you's then the moble and he usually smiles and then he's out.. never a problem.. but Last night I fought him to sleep I dunno why it was wierd.... Just now for his nap we did to... He had his shots on Tues... So I think hes still getting bad dreams but he doesn't have a temp I've been checking because of the shots but I dunno.... arghhhhh... Do you think Baths are better at night then? MerAlove23 01-14-2005, 12:50 PM Thanks guys...!! he has been teething bad.... I am going to try a bath tonight I think and see fos4snt 01-14-2005, 01:03 PM For teething, the baby oragel works wonders. So does freezing the teether rings. ;) Night-time baths are definitely best, especially once they start crawling. It's a good ritual. Also, they have this baby moisturizer (johnson & johnson) called Nightime Sleepytime or something like that. It smells REALLY good and is VERY relaxing. *I* love it and so did my kids! I went through tons of mylecon drops with my kids. They had gas problems. LOL. Good luck, Mer. ;) Hope YOU'RE getting some rest soon! ~phos |
